Love this corner coffee shop I stumbled upon during a trip to Santa Rosa. The reviews were spot on. The food is a hit! They have so many delicious baked goods that were absolutely delicious. I got a cranberry orange scone. It was perfect. Crisp on the outside but so soft and moist on the inside. Finding a good scone is hard, but these were absolutely incredible. From the drink menu, I ordered a matcha latte (my usual) and it was great. Alternative milks available. Loved the ambiance of this spot. Whether you're coming to get some work done or to hang out with friends, there was plenty of space. They also have alcohol available, so it's more than just a day time coffee shop.

The food is great! It always tastes fresh and the tater tots are nice and crispy! I did not like my latte, the espresso was a hard sour taste to get by. I tried adding more sweetener but it made the drink worse. Would order food again, but with a cider instead of latte

Had lunch and a sparkling water which was decent for a coffee shop - their menu isn't huge by any stretch. I'll have to order a coffee next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's located in the gay hood and has a nice vibe which is why we went.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Plus I want to support the community.

"I finally stopped into Brew Coffee and Beer House, and wow--I'm so glad I did! I ordered the basic breakfast sandwich, and it blew me away. The English muffin was thick and fluffy (something I've never had before), and you can tell the eggs are fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was amazing--super attentive and friendly--and the whole vibe of the place is so laid back and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love that they feature handmade local jewelry and even sell funny stickers. Plus, they serve beer , which is wild for a coffee shop! I've lived in this area forever and can't believe I hadn't been here yet. I'll definitely be back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super friendly, lotsa seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Peeps just hanging out on a Wednesday afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Spicy chicken sandwich wasn't spicy, but still really good. Unicorn latte flight was ok. Only one really stood out from the rest.

Food: 5/5 I had a bagel and breakfast sandwich. Both were really good. Lots of flavor and it was really yum Drinks 1/5: peppermint mocha had chunks at the bottom (not in a good way) and the flavor was not consistent throughout the whole drink. I had Crooks peppermint mocha and it was wayyyyy better. I also had gingercardamon latte. It was just okay. The flavor did not wow me at all. Overall I would say food is good, but pass on the drinks

I love the story here .

What a little treat in Santa Rosa. Great place to grab a bite and coffee while you relax in the sun or get some work done. One of the best oatmilk mochas I have ever had, top 5. We will be back soon to try the food and relax on the patio. What a vibe.

I sat at the bar and was served by the owner of the Pub, who is from the UK. I loved chatting with him about the pub and all the fun things that go on there. I happened to come in on Trivia Night, which gets a decent crowd! For dinner, I ordered the Braised Beef Guinness pie and a Guinness to go with it. The pie comes out steaming hot with a nice layer of browned mashed potatoes on top. There is real crust to this kind of pie. Underneath the mashed potatoes is more like beef stew. Large chunks of tender beef and vegetables are sitting in a delicious Guinness stew. On the side, a fresh salad to go with it. For $24 the portion you get is perfect and along with a good pint of beer this is the way to go. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food!

My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

The potatoes and crab were dark and gummy, and everything had that unmistakable taste of being cooked in old, overused grease. The egg was supposed to be poached but was actually a medium hard-boiled egg with hollandaise on top -- not even close to what a benedict should be. To add to the frustration, I was overcharged for my mimosa. Another server confirmed the overcharge and said it was "probably just a mistake," but dining alone as a POC, I couldn't help but feel like it may not have been accidental. Last Father's Day, my husband ordered an omelet here and it came with canned mushrooms -- always a sign that a restaurant is cutting corners. Two visits and the same story both times: the quality just isn't there. I won't be returning.
