[[HIGHLIGHT]]Brew is a colorful cafe right on the corner of B St and Healdsburg Ave. It has cute outdoor seating with umbrellas and plenty of chairs and tables inside without feeling cramped. It's got bar seating too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's also some board games if you want something to play with friends over drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered a 12oz matcha latte with almond milk ($7) and opted to have it unsweetened. Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over. I've always loved Brew and can't believe I've never written a review! I use to come here a lot to study or write papers when I was attending the JC. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It provides the perfect atmosphere for studying and not having a feeling of being rushed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This past weekend, my husband suggested we check out a cafe we haven't been to for breakfast. I mentioned Brew even though I have been there. He took a look at their social and menu and thought it looked pretty good! We very much enjoyed slowing down for a moment while enjoying our breakfast burrios and mochas. I love having my coffee in an actual mug when I'm staying at a cafe for a bit. It's just a nice cozy touch. The breakfast burritos were good but they could be mixed a little better. It was very sectioned by egg, cheese, potato and bacon. Like each bite only had one. Layering might help this but the flavor was still amazing! Brew is one of my favorite cafes in Sonoma County. Not only do they have great food and drinks, but they are also the most inclusive and progressive cafe in the area. They are very forward about their fierce advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights with rainbow flags everywhere. I am here for it! Let's talk about the food and drinks! First, I come here semi-regularly and I am a huge fan of their breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich! My other favorite food item is not on their regular menu anymore, but I LOVE when they do their baked oatmeal. Their coffee is great here, which is from Ritual Roaster in San Francisco. If you come here in the Fall, their seasonal Pumpkin Latte is my favorite Pumpkin Spice latte in the area. So good! They also have a great selection of locally brewed beers, but I've never actually come here at any other time besides morning. They host lots of fun events and have live music and trivia nights. A true, community establishment! The service is friendly. They know their regulars and they are knowledgeable about their food and drinks. Love this corner coffee shop I stumbled upon during a trip to Santa Rosa. The reviews were spot on. The food is a hit! They have so many delicious baked goods that were absolutely delicious. I got a cranberry orange scone. It was perfect. Crisp on the outside but so soft and moist on the inside. Finding a good scone is hard, but these were absolutely incredible. From the drink menu, I ordered a matcha latte (my usual) and it was great. Alternative milks available. Loved the ambiance of this spot. Whether you're coming to get some work done or to hang out with friends, there was plenty of space. They also have alcohol available, so it's more than just a day time coffee shop. read more

I've been to Brew twice since being in this area, and each time it did not disappoint. The first time I went, I ordered brewed coffee which tasted delicious. The second time, I ordered the tea with cinnamon, ginger, and one other ingredient I do not recall. The tea was absolutely delicious, and with the added honey perfect. Service is always friendly. The café itself is so warm and cozy, as well as, welcoming. Wait was too long and slow. It took about 30 minutes to order and for my food and drink to be ready. The peppermint tea tasted fine, but the grilled chicken pesto sandwich could have been better. Brew! Brewwww! I love youuuu! I did my first open mic here a couple of years ago. Their open mic is one of the best around here. So inclusive and welcoming, and such talented artists. The staff are wonderful as well and of course I can't NOT mention the food and drinks here. They got some great local beer and really fun seasonal specials. They also sell these huge baked goods (the cookies are serious business). This place is obviously near and dear to my heart, but I promise that it's objectively a cool hangout spot. read more

Ehh, this place could've been better. For a coffee place, the matcha was terrible. Tasted only like steamed milk, no hint of matcha at all! Ordered Belgian waffles and it was small and came with maple syrup. Nothing like the photo at all where it was topped with fruits. Yogurt parfait was the only good thing out of the whole breakfast. While visiting Santa Rosa post holidays happened upon a coffee and brew establishment that also happens to serve food. Its unique exterior and locally owned made it a spot to experience. There is also ample parking across the street in the parking structure and the first hour is free. As for the cuisine tried their salmon bagel which probably was the healthiest bagel sandwich I've ever had (if you qualify a bagel as being healthy) with fresh ingredients such as capers, cucumbers, and micro greens but it had a relatively small portion of actual fish. Also tried their hot chai latte which was a balanced concoction of creamy and spicy and sweet so makes for a comfortable beverage on a brisk early morning. It's a comfortable spot frequented by locals and worth a visit. read more

Cute cafe to get work done. I would make sure all devices are charged since it is hard to find a spot in general let alone with an outlet when it's busy. Their oat milk iced matcha latte is high quality and impressed that the price isn't $8 like some places. Coffee is pretty good according to my sisters and their food is ok from what I remember from about 2 years ago.
