Upon first glance, this park appears to be nothing more than a series of baseball fields. But as you walk deeper into the park, you'll soon discover that in addition to the 4 nicely kept and well maintained baseball fields, this park also plays host to 2 tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, a concession stand, 2 covered pavilions, plentiful picnic tables and a series of (self pitch) batting cages.
A medium-sized private parking lot is hidden in the middle of the park. It's like a treasure hunt to find since you can't access it from the main entrance. (Next street over I assume)
Sitting in the Douglass Hills / almost Anchorage Neighborhood -- you'd expect the fields and stadium seating to be really nice -- and they are! This seems like a great park for league play. The fields, bases and dugouts are in great shape. Each field has its own score box and stadium bleachers.
Visit this park if you're wanting to watch/play baseball/softball/kickball, play on the playground or try your hand at tennis. This is not a place for cookouts, jogging or reading a book under a tree.
