This is essentially the ONLY contractor around that will deal with this warranty company (and for good reason we learned). Choice kept trying to persuade us to "get it fixed, then get reimbursed" by Choice. Luckily, one of our friends was in the middle of a dispute with Choice trying to get reimbursed for months, so we refused that option. It took Choice almost a month to assign someone to repair our AC in over 100 degree weather. We would post requests on the Choice messaging site almost daily, they would be removed. We were told by Choice appointments had been made then cancelled by Cocina (once we had Cocina's name and contact info things became much clearer). Cocina had not made an appointment, it was Choice blaming Cocina, trying to get us to go the "reimbursement" route. We started sharing messages that Choice was sending us, with Cocina - it was amazing. The deceit involved with Choice was unbelievable. They would delete any of our messages complaining about how long of time it's been to fix our repair, or that we were suffering in over 100 degree heat for weeks. I kept screen shots of everything and then the next day our comments would be deleted. Once Cocina was on it, and we were communicating directly with them, our repair/replacement went smoothly. I feel bad for these guys that they are getting a bad rap when Choice is in the background manipulating things. We had an excellent experience with Cocina and wouldn't hesitate to use them directly for AC repairs!

Little did I know that…read morea slow draining bath tub would cost 300$ I was informed it was 135$ an hour on top of 35$ truck fee as well as another 35$ snake fee. I thought this was expensive but was giving them business based on the experience I had with their HVAC service. After unclogging the tub they said they would write up the invoice and be back. I was shocked to hear 300$. I was told the invoice would be emailed to me. It took 4 days and 2 phone calls to receive it. Then when I asked why it was so much I was told they charge an extra 95$ helper fee. I asked why they did not mention that before I requested service because they certainly let me know about the other fees all she could say was sorry. I am very disappointed in this company and will never use these guys for anything ever again. I strongly recommend using another company as well. These guys are charging ridiculous fees.

At first, we thought it might be the high ceilings and the frigid air outside but, with zero and -1 coming, we thought we should call Michael. We called earlier today and he came today. He came, diagnosed the issue, and we have nice toasty warm air! His attention to detail, knowledge, and explanations on how this heat pump thing works are amazing. He knows his stuff for sure. And he's a dang nice man to boot! Very reasonably priced and honest! We won't call anyone but Michael and Evolution. You should call him too!
