The facilities are all very well maintained and clean. You find sites with full hookup, water, sewer and electric in various sizes to accomodate and size rig. There is a dog run, a walkway to the little creek, and a full fledged laundaumat with enough machines to get everything done quick. We liked the nice touches of glowers and blooming bushes everywhere. A great experience at a competitive rate. We definately will come back next summer for our mountain adventures.

A few additional points.... 1 - while families are welcome, there's not a ton for kids to do. Small area to get in the creek and small playset. It's pretty quiet and laid back. 2 - all the restrooms and the shower facility are super clean and well maintained. Very nice. 3 - starlink was a little hard to get and you'll likely have obstructions. The campground sits in almost like a ravine with hills and trees around you. But it is possible. Cell was 4G somewhat. Normally, they have cable but it was out due to a storm while we were there. Could not get our winegard dish to get any satellites. 4 - tent sites and the cabins were awesome. 5- For some of the sites, a little maneuvering is needed for trailers, fifth wheels or larger Class C and Class A rigs. Just listen to Tom and you'll be okay. 6 - follow the directions on their website. Do not use the other gps's. Bottom line is that we'll definitely go back. We liked it even though while we were there, it rained a lot. So yes we spent a lot of time sitting inside the motorhome but listening to that Creek and just hanging out was awesome

There are poo bags for the better, responsible pet owners and most are so. There are protected swans and geese everywhere, which adds to the beauty. Most of the walkers are friendly. Plenty of places to stop and sit to take it in or meditate. There's even dining if you're making an evening of it-including a crepe shoppe and ice cream shoppe. Please clean up after your pets, to keep this gracious area pet friendly!

Sitting at 5,400 feet, expect temps 10-15 degrees cooler than Maggie Valley. An elk walked through our camp site while we cooked dinner. Bathrooms are rustic but clean and the shower is hot.

The glamping was really nice-- set up in a livestock trailer (yes, you read that right), but this "red roof inn" was very comfortable-- equipped with a regular bed and kept us warm and dry. While there, we also did check the campsites out-- very nice and remote if you want to get away. The property also has a cottage/cabin that we already think about when the weather gets cooler. Sarah and John took great care of us and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is great to reach the Smoky Mountains NP or to get into Pisgah National Forest, or just relax by the pond!
