And their prices are competitive to big box gyms. They have plenty of 35lb plates which a lot of gyms don't have. No Kg plates but that's fine for me. They don't have super hardcore lifting equipment (pro squat racks) but it's a good mix between free weights and machines while about half the machines use plates. Fortunately even after being changed to Just Move, the affordable rates remained the same (basic plan is $9.99/month at this location; Cypress starts at $19.99/month). Despite its small appearance, the gym offers many amenities such as saunas, tanning beds, and several training options depending on your preferences (group fitness, athletic training, crossfit, etc). There's also an abundance of machines around the area and, truth be told, you don't need specific machines to work out specific body parts. Simply improvise by doing calf raises on leg press machines... I'm just saying. Apart from those who like strength training, there's a whole deck for my cardio people. Tolerate cardio only while watching a movie so you don't keep questioning why 10 minutes is so long? The cardio cinema is for you, my friend. Another perk that I haven't experienced at other commercial gyms (LA Fitness, Crunch, YouFit specifically) is the shake bar. Organic Cookie Crunch is my go-to after a workout, because... treat yo'self. Like all businesses, this place definitely has room for improvements. I would love to have at least one full length mirror in the locker room and more free weights around the area.
