I saw some…read moreincredible results after just 1 month of consistently attending classes, which was much needed after months of not working out. They've since updated their equipment and their flooring, which is awesome. At the time that I attended, there was no open gym, which I know lots of people need to fit in a workout during the day. There's also no showers, so you can't wash after working out and head to work. But the owners are super sweet and down to earth, and so are the trainers. There's definitely a solid community there of people who encourage each other constantly. But it's not competitive, which makes it welcoming for newcomers like myself. I have a neck injury, and they worked with me to help me build strength without hurting myself. If you're looking for a CrossFit gym that isn't just full of people who are incredibly fit and intimidating, this gym is perfect. There are some people there who are super athletic and can life really heavy, but there's also a mixture of young and older people at all levels of fitness. You'll fit in no matter how much experience you have with the gym.

We have been members here for 20 months, 250+ classes…read more The manager, Chris, is toughest, a retired marine, but he pushes me to be better. Regrettably, he mostly leads classes during the workday, so I only see him when he's filling in for other instructors. I usually have Amanda on Monday 5:30pm, Allison Tuesday & Thursday 6 am, Kathy 6am Wednesday, Leslie 5:30pm Friday, and Lindsay 7am Saturday. They're great, experienced instructors, they know very well how to mix up workouts and are really nice. The classes tend towards resisted stretching and core strengthening, rather than serious weightlifting. I feel stronger & more flexible at age 62 that I did at 40. Sometimes scheduling is tricky, I have learned that I have to stay on top of my classes to keep booked. Members can only book 10 at any time, to keep gym rats in-line. I usually get about 20 classes a month in, so figure about $9/class, can seem pricey when you look at your bill. It's worth it. There are events periodically to win prizes so that's fun. Private sessions are available.

We did a haute yoga class,…read moreand it was also my first time ever trying any type of yoga at a business so I was really not sure what to expect. But I really loved it! It took some getting used to walking into that hot room, it honestly feels suffocating to begin with but then it gets better, and you feel absolutely amazing after, like totally refreshed and rejuvenated because you've sweated out all the toxins from your body. According to my friend's knowledge, who has done a lot of yoga in her life already, she said the class we did was one of the harder ones, but I still loved it and the challenge and our instructor was super chill and great at explaining things for the most part, and this is coming from a complete beginner. It was really easy to book my spot online, and the prices are definitely not cheap but they aren't the worst either in my opinion. I'm definitely going to come back at some point. And, it's right at the Southgate shopping center so one of the coolest landmarks in Lakeland, how fun!!

As much as I'd like to join the high ratings for this studio I simply can't. I write this as a…read morelong-time yoga practitioner and came here by recommendation. The people working here are very nice and the studio is clean. The practice area is inviting and of ample size, but the initial vibe didn't feel yogic. I prefer getting to my mat early to begin focusing on a calming breath. Studios often display signs on the door asking practitioners to keep the volume down. Here, sunlight pours through the windows, the overhead lights were on, and several members were sitting facing each other having a fairly loud conversation. I don't put this entirely on the studio but promoting silence prior to practice is advisable. The hot yoga class itself, led by a sub, was generic, lacked several elements, and offered no variations for more advanced practitioners. Throughout the class, I kept hoping for more. Though this studio claims this class to be a motivating and challenging experience it felt more like basic YMCA yoga. I expected more for a $21 drop-in fee. I've reviewed countless yoga studios and have practiced all over the world. This is only the second studio that has ever been less than stellar but I feel I've reviewed it fairly.

I went to a 5:30 barre class and during the warmup began feeling very lightheaded. I hadn't eaten enough, and I just realized it. I sat down a couple time during the class (which felt especially awkward since there were only 3 people in class) because I feared I'd pass out. This happens a lot to me, but it's not fun. I felt the color flush from my cheeks. The instructor checked on me quietly to make sure I was fine, and had the front desk attendant follow up. I was eating nuts in the lounge area and the front desk girl offered me an ice pack and protein bar. I took the bar and ate it but still wasn't feeling well. She checked on me again and offered to give me a free class pass so I could come back and actually enjoy the workout. She cleaned up my mat and equipment for me and told me to feel better. As someone who's fainted at concerts, doctor's offices, fast food restaurants, and everywhere else, I know how embarrassing it can be. These ladies made me feel so comforted!!! They kept class going so I didn't feel like a distraction, made sure I was okay and ensured I'd be back to appreciate the class another day. Love this community of kind hearted women!

Volleyball instruction at its Best!!!…read more Our daughter started a 5 week, once a week training regimen an every Sunday for an hour in a half. It was like 300$ so pretty good value!!! Our daughter has had a great time, every-time. The only con is in regard to it being a bit hot in the gym. It is a nice size, but needs more air flow. They do have an air conditioned front office, but if you want to sit and enjoy watching your kid in the session. It will be warm. Either way at this point of being the last day. A studio that just shows how far the entire OTF brand has fallen. The studio has great SA's and…read morecoaches but they care more about the money and company than their members and their fitness. Examples: -Last year I asked to move my class from one open class to another because my sister went into labor and they said they couldn't waive the $12 late cancel fee (due to company policy) -This morning I was :15 seconds over the time where you can be late to class and I was not let in (due to company policy) -That same sister who went into labor didn't feel like the workout was safe to do through her her pregnancy (due to drs orders) and tried to cancel and was charged for two months she couldn't use. She understood and asked if she could have her husband or father use those 2 months since again, her fitness level wasn't enough high enough to safely do HIIT while pregnant - they said no (due to company policy). They still call her every week to get her to rejoin. If you're looking for a great workout - it's hard to not to love OTF, but seriously weigh other options and read the Reddit before joining.

The coaches are pretty great and they are doing a great job with cleanliness and social distancing during the pandemic.

Here is the worst part they lie to your face and say you are already registrated for competition that you didn't approve of. The could care less about the kids they just want your money.
