Shout out to Robert the RSO for coming by and chatting, and giving me tips on how to zero my rifle. Didn't catch the name of the guy at the counter, but he was great too. Me and my wife went for the non-member, hourly rate. We probably spent about 3 hours there ($45/hour, per person), but he ended up only charging me for the time, and said my wife didn't have to pay "since she didn't shoot too much" (although she definitely did). Ranges were at 15 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards, and 300 yards (members only for the 300 range). Site had restrooms and water. Don't see how anyone could have a bad time here. RSOs were extremely chill and were always respectful (unlike RSOs at other ranges I've been to). Ranges were very cooperative, unlike anything I've seen at other places. Patrons are largely in control of going hot and cold, as long as every just gives the thumbs up, they're not timed or anything. Will definitely return, and probably look to become a member. They offer veteran discounts on membership too.

The RSO was quite knowledgeable and helpful. We spent a couple hours and we were impressed! Purchased a family membership and will be regulars from now on. FYI the ownership recently changed and not sure how it was before but this group seems to have there ducks in a row! The training range is separate so there is no scheduling issues of the ranges if they are open you can shoot! I highly recommend this friendly, clean and well organized facility!

The entryway is gravel and has a bit of a hill, which one of the vehicles behind us had their tires spin out a little bit. The parking area is on a hill above the range so I'd highly recommend a wagon if you plan on staying here a while and have lots of heavy items. Also I'd suggest putting on ears and eyes in the parking lot as there is a sign stating that they are required after leaving the lot going to the range area. The staff at TDR are very friendly and are at the ready to assist with any questions or suggestions regarding the range or your weapon. There is a small little "shack" in between the long range and the pistol range. On the pistol side, they have a place to stack all of your magazines and handguns and gear. There are no partitions between the lanes so fair warning if the range is packed and every lane is busy then you WILL get pinged with spent casings. I love the pistol side because they have moving steel targets, so instead of trying to find the hole in the target you just need to see if your steel target moves. They are fairly small so its pretty awesome when you see it move each time you pull the trigger. The other side also has some targets set up to target with (though you can always bring your own to set up with they hold fire). They also have a table and seat set up for shooting your AR (or other weapon of choice) and its capable for lefty or righty. The little "shack" has a few items for sale from eye to ear protection as well as hats/etc. My husband and I bought a membership that day, even though we have another range close to our house. We like the cover for the shooting area so even if its a light rain we can have fun plinking. Obviously we intend on returning as we bought memberships. I highly recommend Tango Down Range!

At a high end place you would expect better offerings. We had the French fries and boneless wings. At a place like this it's odd that is even an option, but we were hungry. They were ok. We shot a tournament here and that is the only way we would ever shoot here. The tournament was $100. This is actually high for a 100 clay tournament and at this range and lower it would include lunch. This did not include lunch. Normally they charge the ridiculous and extortionate price of $325 per 100 clays. This is easily 3-4 times as much as I have ever seen for a round of 100 clays. We usually shoot at an Orvis range at $80 for 100 clays. That is actually already on the high end and is a much nicer course with a trapper included. It seems Nemacolin takes advantage of rich people. They come down and pay way too much for a stay then get to pay way too much for everything else as well. No hate, a sucker is born every minute and a Nemacolin every second. I admire the hustle. So basically, if you have any sense don't pay 3-5 times as much for a round of clays as market value. There are better place near by. Then, don't get the shitty food. There is better food near by. This would be 1 star but they had one of Johnny Cash's pistols on display. I have to give 1 more star for anything from the man in black. Service was also good.

If you are a person who wants a place to do more advanced practice in any shooting sports discipline this is the place to go. They have several rifle ranges from 50-1000 yards. They have a skeet and trap range and a 5 stand coming soon. They have pistol bays for individual and small group practice. A full membership gets you all of this and is a great value. No where else in the area offer this variety at such a great price and I go 1-2 times a week. The employees and RSOs are super friendly and helpful as well. If you want a place to go beyond standing on a line and static shooting this is the best around. They also have some competitions but another nearby range has a lot more especially in pistol disciplines. I would love to see some M1 Garand and military rifle competitions here. It's well set up for that.

I just took Paramount Tactical Solution's Defensive Handgun I & II this past weekend with my son…read moreand his friend. I have taken medical courses through Paramount in the past, which were great, so I came to these courses with very high expectations. Gary and his staff of experienced professional instructors met and exceeded my expectations in every way! They truly are phenomenal instructors who obviously have years of not only operational experience, but years of training experience. They are able to watch you shoot and find those very small things you aren't doing properly and show you how to fix those things. I've been shooting for years and have a military background. On a flat range I am a pretty good shooter. The amount I leveled up from this past weekend is truly remarkable. My son who attended with me is starting a police academy in the beginning of the year and had almost no experience going into the training at Paramount. The instructors took the time to give him the instruction to give him an awesome base upon which to build. They had him shooting very accurately and with confidence by the end of the weekend. I couldn't recommend Paramount Tactical Solutions enough to anyone who is looking to become a better shooter or learn medical.
