I honestly can't say enough good things about Crossfire Painting. He returned all my calls and emails promptly and checked in with me regularly until the job was complete. His pricing was great for the amount of work I asked him to do. He arrived precisely when he said he would prepared to work. He was very thorough in his prep of all the walls and worked carefully with me to ensure my satisfaction with the color and his work. John was amazing with my daughter even though I tried to keep her from getting in the way. He was so friendly, patient, and funny. She was so excited when he returned the next day. She broke her karaoke machine that day and was so upset. Of course, I couldn't fix It and my husband probably couldn't have either. He stopped working and offered to help. He rewired the machine in no time at all. It didn't take us long to see that he is a genuine nice guy. I would highly recommend Crossfire Painting for any painting work you need done. To refrain from repeating anything I've already stated I'm going to respond to your post briefly but please note that you not only did a poor job painting but your also untruthful. To be professional is to be on time. Period. The advertised job was one room painted with 2 coats of paint for $99. Why wouldn't I expect for you to actually do 2 coats? We NEVER did a walk through with a UV light. You said that you did a walk through with a UV light and once it was dry there should be no issues. I NEVER said I didn't want to buy another gallon of paint (do you think I'd actually want it to be streaked?) I only bought one gallon in the first place because that's what you asked me to get. I NEVER texted you at 11p. The picture I uploaded says the time in EST. That means it was 8:13p, after which you began your text rant at 12:50AM. No further clarification necessary. read more

I purchased a Groupon in early June. They have not returned phone calls or emails. I am not sure that they are even in business? I am disappointed and it seems I will have to ask Groupon for my money back. If they are still in business, they are severely lacking in customer service. :-( read more

We hired Crossfire to paint and do some minor drywall repairs on our ceilings due to a water leak. They were very responsive and professional from the time they provided us a quote until the time the job was finished. I work at home and they were great about working around my schedule while I was home and they were painting my office. We would definitely hire them again for any painting needs! read more

Had this company paint one room in my house. It cost about $1,000, and the results are mediocre at best. It should have been a red flag that they gave me an estimate over the phone instead of in person. After we talked on the phone and I explained that the walls were in rough condition because there had been a bad wallpaper job that we'd pulled down, the owner estimated the cost would be $485 and I would need to buy the paint. When I requested the baseboards and windows be painted, the price went up to $585. When I requested they buy the trim paint, the price went up another $50. When I requested the closet be painted, the price went up another $200+. I agreed to all these increases, but at the end of the project, the wall surfaces were still uneven, there was a square foot spot in the closet that I was instructed to sand and paint myself, there's drip marks on the walls, and I can still see the old paint color and the old wallpaper seams in a few places. And in the first 5 days, the paint has already chipped off in a few places, so I've had to retouch. I feel like I paid professional prices for unimpressive work. It's very, very disappointing. I would have insisted that they fix it, but I really don't believe they have the skills to accomplish a professional-looking paint job. read more

Beware GROUPON offers from this company!! Had terrible experience with owner and his workers. From having paint poured down my new stainless steel sink, that was not used. To being told work had been completed, when in actuality crown molding in master b/r, ceiling, window trim had never been painted! Master bath had only been painted with one coat, was told two coats of paint had been applied. Master b/r closet had been painted with one coat in some places, two coats of paint in other places No caulking had been used between walls, ceilings leaving large gaps. Problems with painting of family room too numerous to detail. They could not paint a straight line if their lives depended on it. Should have shown them the door the first day they arrived. Was told work would all be done in ONE day. I knew the amount of painting to be done would never be done in one day. Their painting crew consisted of two so-called painters and one helper whose painting stills were less than mine. They arrived late in the morning, took many breaks in their vehicle. When the sun went down they hurried to go home. At the end of the second day was told they were done, wanted to be paid in full. After showing the owner all areas that had not been painted, caulked, or needed another coat of paint. I was told to hold back $50 from agreed upon price, they would be back to finish. But after being lied to that everything had been painted, no way I gave them anymore money. The next day was contacted buy owners wife she wanted to be paid in full, or threatened legal action. Received registered letter from an attorney representing Crossfire Painting. After consulting with my attorney, then sending their attorney a "Punch List" which is a list of work needed to complete job. Their attorney stated they would be taking me to court. Never heard again from their attorney in written or verbal communication. In closing the stress I endured through this process was horrific. Had to hire another paining company to finish work. Hired Crossfire painting to come in and simply paint a kitchen and living room.. Confirmed the day before that the paint crew would arrive at 9am... they showed up around 9:55... painter complained about using the PPG product we had bought after wife had already confirmed it was fine to use the product of our preference. Moments after these guys flew out the door, we noticed a spot of paint on the powder bath door (same color gray paint that was just used on the walls). Immediately felt the spot and it was obvious it was wet paint. Took a warm soapy rag to it and noticed it was dry wall putty and mesh tape that had been sanded to cover up a huge hole in my door. When contacting the paint crew, it was denied that anyone knew anything about the hole that had been freshly patched and covered up with gray paint on my ivory white doors. The response I received was "that must of already been there". Unfortunately these guys have been unable to come up with a solution to this issue. Instead of being honest and making it right it seems as though this company likes to take other routes. read more
