Pilates is extremely therapeutic and emphasizes the power of mind body connection while lenthening and strengthening the spine and core. Articulation is key and engaging while connecting the muscles is extremely important. With that said - INSTRUCTORS ARE EVERYTHING!!! Only a very small handful of instructors at this studio are what I consider excellent instructors who know what they are doing. Claire & Nikki are two of the best and even a level 1 class you will get an excellent workout!!! The man behind the desk was no help when I asked if he could call her to see if she was coming. He said he had no phone number for her. As I walked around the gym I noticed that there were so much more weight lifting equipment. Seems this gym is now more interested in accommodating younger people that are into weights. That does not help us senior citizens at all. I could not even find some of the equipment that I used to use. And there was no one there that could help me, May be time to find a new gym.
