I haven't tried any of their other amenities but the bathroom/lockers seem clean whenever I go in.

Google is and follow Instagram accounts. PT staff is very rude when you have to cancel from the people at the locations all the way up the corporate ladder too. Stuff happens; people have the right not to have to pay for services they can no longer use.

I have gotten really into Zumba ever since my classes. Dancing is a great way to relieve stress, and dancing burns hundreds of calories if you just dance for a few hours! Unfortunately, what should have been a positive experience quickly became frustrating, discouraging, and emotionally exhausting, thanks to Sam, Richard and Mari. From the beginning, nearly every interaction felt like a sales pitch. I signed up for a gym membership, the Pilates add-on, and personal training because I wanted professional guidance and support. During my training consultation, Richard, the Director of Training, promised nutritional guidance, including calories and macros, a workout plan for the days I was not meeting with a trainer, measurements, and an assessment. When I arrived for my first training appointment, Richard appeared unaware of why I was there. My trainer then asked me many of the same questions I had already discussed with him, which made it seem like there had been little communication. The workout lasted approximately 25 minutes, which had not been explained when I signed up. When I asked about the nutrition and workout plans I had been promised, I was told that the trainer did not know me or my form well enough to provide them and that I should do any exercises I already knew. This was incredibly discouraging because I had specifically signed up for personal training because I needed guidance. I left feeling deflated and devalued as a member. When I raised my concerns, I received conflicting explanations, little accountability, and repeated promises that someone would follow up. I had to explain the same emotional experience to multiple employees (a total of 5 times), yet calls were repeatedly not returned. The most disappointing response came when I was told that they "usually do not issue refunds because of an experience." This was not simply a change of mind. I joined with every intention of using the gym, but the services and guidance used to sell me personal training were not provided as represented. After the poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and dismissive handling of my concerns, I no longer felt comfortable returning. The only person who made me feel genuinely heard was Rod. He listened, apologized, and showed empathy when no one else had. I truly appreciated his kindness. I joined because I was motivated and excited to prioritize my health. Instead, I spent my first two weeks dealing with sales pitches, contradictory information, poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and repeatedly chasing people for answers. I am still waiting for a resolution and the full refund I requested. I am posting this in hopes of a resolution, as it seems every attempt I have already made comes with repeated excuses and promises of follow-ups that never occur. This gym has nice equipment, and yes, it is well maintained, so if you only care about machines, you will enjoy it. I would give the equipment 4 out of 5. But the staff and how the entire management team handles things made me have to give the overall rating 2 out of 5. I just can't give this place 1 star because this was once home to me with all my friends, and I recommended over 20 friends here. The real problem, in my opinion, is the staff experience now. Anyone who has been here long enough knows how much this place changed after McCall left and The Bumgardner Health Group took over. Real gym enthusiasts and bodybuilders have started going to Gold's, and there is a reason behind it. If you're an old member, you probably understand what I mean. In my experience, the way rules are applied now feels inconsistent. It felt like once you got on their radar, normal behavior started being interpreted differently. There was a front desk staff member who watched me closely throughout my workouts. If I moved to a corner, I would often see her nearby checking machines or changing paper towels. It gave me the impression that I was being monitored more than usual. And honestly, I would say be careful about arguing or pushing back, because in my experience it did not lead to a productive outcome. I was a long-time member, known for being friendly, and still ended up being labeled as having a "negative attitude toward members and staff," which did not match how I see my own behavior. In my experience, escalating to management was not productive, and the response did not feel professional. eg. getting banned asking for proof and getting a response of "asking for too much". If you are someone who keeps a low profile, you can probably go there and enjoy the machines. But if you stand out or get the attention of staff, your experience may be different. According to me and my homies' experience, issues can be raised around things like gym attire, check-in situations (funny cuz this falls under staff's responsibility), standing near equipment, using your phone for video/photo, or helping friends with form. Some of these situations felt more like misunderstandings than actual violations and you are not allowed to prove yourself, aka. shut up or leave. I still love the gym vibe because of the people, but now even the people are leaving. The gym is becoming more and more empty, and that is the saddest part because the community is what made this place special. If you are a true bodybuilder and you care about community, vibe, and culture, not just machines, I would recommend Gold's instead. If you do not believe what I am saying, stay and see for yourself. I don't feel intimidated by her or by being in the gym. All trainers I've interacted with seem friendly, but I highly recommend Liz. Whether you are new to going to the gym or seasoned and looking to learn new exercises, Liz is a great person to hire.

That's like a decade in fad girl time. This place was built with heart and sweat. The workouts are intense but you can go at your own pace. There is always someone in class at your level and you won't feel intimidated like you might at other gyms. When you give up and don't show up for a few classes guess what happens... they text you to check-in. I've never seen that happen at the 1,000 other gyms I've tried in my lifetime. If you're ready to hit some goals while having fun and doing it all in a healthy way FNS is for you. Don't sleep on it ;)
