Great gym! Coach Ron is great. Love the dynamic and structure. Super easy to register for drop in classes. I'm Visiting from out of town and have tried a handful of gyms in the area. CrossFit Silicon Valley was welcoming, organized and provided a great workout. Warm up, strength and the WORK!!! Great amount of space, great amount of equipment and there's a parking lot. Definitely recommend for newbies or travelers. I will continue to come when I'm in town. THANK YOU CROSSFIT SILICON VALLEY!

I've been at CrossFit Silicon Valley for just over a year now. When I first started I was SUCH a beginner- I was weak and didn't know anything about weightlifting or CrossFit workouts. I started coming about 3 times a week and over the year I've progressed so much in terms of strength, fitness, and weightlifting form. None of this would have been possible without the AMAZING coaches here, especially Ron. I'm a very shy person and the coaches all really make an effort to make me feel safe, welcomed, and included in everything. Because of the safe environment that is cultivated by the coaches, the same energy is brought out in the members -- everyone is super friendly and encouraging. I've made some awesome friends and connections here that I am so grateful for. Overall this gym is awesome-- it's accommodating to every fitness level and is always fun to be at!

It's extremely difficult to get bored because of the many options of classes they offer. It's also really nice that all members get 24/7 access to the space. As a student, I work my workouts around my school schedule, and it's seriously so nice to know there's ALWAYS something available for me to take. I would recommend parking in the San Pedro/Market Street garage and do a quick 3 minute walk to Hotworx - the first hour and a half of parking there is free! Staff is VERY friendly and helpful. They also do an excellent job at making sure the space is clean. Overall, I've had a really good experience with Hotworx in downtown!

With the many health benefits of infrared saunas, the concept of combining them with fitness classes seemed like the perfect fit for me. UNIQUE STUDIO HOTWORX is a one-of-a-kind gym with multiple infrared saunas running virtual classes 24/7. A virtual instructor leads a variety of workouts, including barre, Pilates, yoga, stretching, cycling, rowing, and more. Each sauna can fit up to three people, but I've often had the sauna all to myself. The studio also has a small weightlifting area and a shower for those who need to get ready after their workout. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and inviting. AFFORDABLE MEMBERSHIP Because there are no live instructors, the membership cost is very reasonable - especially if you get someone else to join you. Just know that your first month will be the most expensive since you'll pay an enrollment fee and have to buy their sauna-specific equipment (like a yoga mat and towel). LOVE IT I've been a member for over two months now, and I'm hooked! The 24/7 class schedule makes it so easy to fit in a workout no matter how hectic my day gets. Plus, the staff is super friendly and the whole vibe of the place is just perfect. TLDR If you're curious about HOTWORX, your first class is free, so give it a try and see for yourself! It's a unique and affordable gym that offers infrared sauna workouts with a wide range of virtual classes, perfect for busy schedules. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine fitness with the benefits of infrared heat.

I was tired of laying around and not being able to be physically active with my children. I joined HIIT and cardio kickboxing which got me moving and motivated, but being at hills training made me want more seeing especially seeing woman's group and how it was coached by a woman, not just any woman but the owner herself Marica Hill. Seeing how she was all about woman empowerment and all the positive coaching I knew thats where I wanted to be. I joined woman's group 4x a week and feeling the best I've ever felt. Every time I wanted to give up or said I can't Coach Marica was right there not letting me and encouraging me to be better with constant reminders of where I was and where I am today. Both my sons train with Coach Isaiah Hill, he is a firm believer of standing up for yourself and not allowing your child to be bullied. He teaches respect and discipline and encourages the children to go far in life. He's always speaking to the kids positivity and to never doubt themselves. From the beginning, the environment was welcoming and supportive. The coaches genuinely cared about my progress, taking the time to understand my goals and create a plan that worked for me. What stood out most was how encouraging everyone was, there was no judgment, just motivation!

What I loved about this place is that it is family owned by a beautiful local family, the Hills. They are super experienced and knowledgeable and kind. This gym is always packed! What I also love is the environment is also family friendly. You see moms doing small group training while their kids do a kickboxing class. This is a perfect place for youth to have fun, make friends, build confidence, and be physically active. Coach Marica is my trainer in the small womens group. It's 5-7 women and every session Marica does completely different exercises so it keeps our muscles sharp and I have never been bored. The 45 minutes go by so fast even though it is really hard work. She constantly reminds me I am stronger than I think I am and challenges all of us while tailoring based on our level. Signing up is easy because there are no contracts and it is really affordable for the high quality service you get. Most of the women in my group class have been going for years and that says a lot about how amazing the Hills family are. If you are hesitant, call and ask for a trial class. I was so impressed I signed up that day and have renewed for my second month.

MWSa are the strength days, TTh are the core days, F is a HIIT day, and Su isn't a stretch/mobility day. I typically just do the MWSa classes, so my review is based on those classes.
