I got to say, I miss this gym so much. I moved away, and have since been looking for a similar…read moremodel the gym as A&M fitness. I only did the four week trial at a very discounted price because I was living in the area temporarily. However, I have never seen such extreme results in only four weeks time as I did when I took these classes 2 to 3 times a week. The group that I did the classes with felt like a close team and the coaches were extremely welcoming and not intimidating. Physically, I pushed my body in ways I never did before in quick bursts of interval training. Every class was different and I looked forward to each one. The workouts are short and varied enough that you feel like you can at least try anything, and the instructors always give an option to make it a bit easier and a bit harder with each exercise intro. Like I said, I have since moved away but am looking to get involved in a gym like this. It's more pricey than others but worth every penny bc I got way better results practically immediately than any other fitness program I've done.

Affordable pricing, results driven workout sessions and WAY better than any other big box gym. If you really want to workout, look no further! AM is the place. There are other similar boot-camp places around, but their ego gets on their way!! Stop by for a kick ars workout! I am sure MIke can cater to children as well.. It's never late, nor too early to start working towards a better, healthier lifestyle.

I can NO longer go to a gym after being here…read more What can you get from the People at Tyler English Fitness: 1.) Train within a group of people of various ages, occupations and gender. 2.) Multiple trainers for each session to ensure you are working out to your personal best. 3.) Pushing individuals to their extreme. 4.) Teaching you how to train with your body, dumbells and resistance bands. 5.) Making you conduct every workout with High Intensity Interval Training. and what makes it the best and better than cross fit and any other boot camp? *drum rolls with high hat crash* 6.) They give you a nutrition seminar every month! Showing you what to eat, when to eat it and how much to eat of it! Yeah that's right, Tyler English Fitness! The owner himself got tired of the mundane and overestimated Gym culture that he decided to use not only his academic skill but his profession.........Natural body building! He's learned the science of nutrition, proper work outs and building a body. He has a degree in sports medicine and exercise science, a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) performamce enhancement specialist, World National Body Building Federation competitor and winner on many occasions, Certified Personal Trainer and Youth Conditioning Specialist. This guy is REAL DEAL. Because of him I managed to have so much energy, with the "look good naked" body. I ate very nutritiously by sticking to his diet plan, and worked through his intense sessions. Note: about 600 to 1,000 calories get burned from your body doing this class. I went from an overweight into almost obese 225 pounds to a lean and ripped 190 pounds. I was an athlete in high school. I played Football, ran Indoor and Outdoor track. But at around 30 years of age, I had a better body with awesome athleticism (increased agility, stamina, endurance, power, etc.) now than when I was 16 years old. I have progression pix posted up pn here. You can go to their website: www. ConnecficutFitnessBootCamps . Com. Joe C. (Yelp Elite '12) is a frequent Boot Camper and he is the 8th picture in the testimonial section. That's proof The last reviewer, Joe C. Is the walking billboard for this place. He lost 75 pounds! I was impressed to see his progression over a year of hard work! Back in the day this place started with house moms and female professionals over the age of 40. Now many people have caught on to how awesome this place is. You can now see people of all ages, sexes, etc. all here for one thing........to stay healthy! I can never go back to the gym. I'm too lazy. I have no motivation unless someone who knows their stuff and that's Tyler English and his elite staff! They teach you proper form, they understand your potential and teach you how to eat clean. Many of us Americans are misinformed about proper nutrition. Tyler English Fitness enlightens all. He also owns Athletic Revolution, a training camp for children 5 years old to adolescents.

My only place to truly workout. The trainers are bar none the best in the business. It's a family…read moreenvironment and I've been a member for 3 years. I've lost 70lbs to date! They offer group, semi-private, private classes. Custom-tailored workouts for less than a personal trainer. They are way more knowledgeable than anyone you'll get at Big Lie/Cry or anything like that, and you grow to become friends with them! My trainer and I are always doing things outside of the gym, and we constantly do charity workout events to raise money for various causes. They offer a massage therapist, nutritionist, and training seminars. Also, they have Athletic Revolution which helps kids because it's a place to go after school, and gives them custom workouts that work on improving their abilities in sports or health in general. Best program, and when people want ideas to open their own gyms, they come here, then open a lesser version! (Can you tell I'm bias?)

I have always had good experiences at this location. This is one of the few locations in CT that…read moreoffers the 90 minute class (every other weekend) so I appreciate that they offer this format and it is always highly attended! The coaches are great - just due to timing, I usually have Coach Chris and always find him to do a great job and get us through a tough workout! The front desk staff is always nice as well. Overall, I highly recommend this studio!

As I pass go on my 100th class at Orangetheory (OTF), I'm using this review to not only reflect on…read morethis journey but to also share the difference OTF can make and thank the OTF crew for doing what most fitness regimens couldn't get me do consistently: get me off my butt and make a change. It means something that I've walked into this studio about 100 times now (and my Yelp check ins don't show it, but I will show it to you on my OTF app!) Let me first preface that everyone's motivations and workout preferences are different! As someone who finds herself motivated by numbers, scores, and being in competition with myself, OTF has gotten me farther than other workout regimens I've tried. I'm also motivated by little challenges that i can beat. So doing things like the transformation challenge (come in 3x/week for six weeks), Mayhem (come in 4 times in one week), and the benchmarks somehow get me to show up and compete with myself. I've always quit gym memberships because I find I get distracted by my phone instead of doing reps. I've learned from OTF that my preferred style is having a coach tell me what to do each block. Yes it's loud in there. No you don't need headphones for this workout. It sounds crazy but don't knock it until you try it! My favorite things about OTF are I can do my workout to my level, but burn the same amount of calories as the person next to me who may be a marathon runner. I'm not a runner by any means and power walk through my workouts. There's no mold of what an Orangetheory member looks like; all shapes sizes and abilities are welcome. And let me tell you...I started from Zero. I self identify as someone who is clumsy and not athletic, and I've been able to make OTF not only work for me but be something I love! I also love that I can keep up with it as there's studios all over the country and even some internationally. Finally, gotta commend the staff and coaches here. They've been reliable and friendly sources of encouragement throughout. They truly coach as they will step in to make sure you're in correct form. They learn the names of the members and especially as I've frequented more I feel welcomed through and through. As of the date of this post shoutout to Coaches Chris, Taylor, and Chelsea who've been just wonderful, and Ashley and the staff are also super helpful in making sure we all are ready to get our burn and that everything is working. Yes I am a foodie. But foodie life means also taking care of one's health along the way. I've never been someone who is knowledgeable about health and fitness. OTF has been a place where despite some very hard times in 2021 and things I'm working through, I got to focus on me and becoming a better version of myself for an hour. You know what? That's the thing you get addicted to. I've never been anyone who worked out regularly if at all. I'm proud to say OTF has gotten me feeling better and coming in 3-4 times a week. Not a cult I promise but I see what the hype is all about. Give it a try! Call OTF today and see what deals we have.
