The gym is really well kept / clean too. I felt like my space was really respected even though I was one of the only women in there at the time. I am a little too small to use a few of the machines but I still got an amazing training session in using free weights and alternate training methods/ other equipment to hit some of the muscles I needed to. They finish using the machine and just walk away, leaving it for somebody else to deal with. Saw one guy walk away from the leg press, leaving 6 plates for a young girl to unload. Then a lady finishes on the Smith Machine and just walks away. This is an issue for me because I used to work out at a gym in Miami where they would stop you at the desk to tell you that you left plates loaded on your last visit, or left dumbbells out. Maybe I'm just being sensitive but I feel like people need to use etiquette in the gym.

There is often no soap available in the showers, the sauna and spa areas are filthy, paint is peeling throughout the facility, many of the machines are old and outdated, and the pool has not been properly heated for months. The pool was originally scheduled to be closed for maintenance from mid-March through April 16. However, as of May 29, it is still not fully operational. The heater remains broken, leaving the water uncomfortably cold. Throughout this process, members have repeatedly been told the issue would be fixed "tomorrow," "next week," "over the weekend," or "today." We were also told they were waiting to locate a pool heater repair specialist. Unfortunately, the promised timelines have continually come and gone without resolution, leaving many members frustrated and disappointed. After months of dealing with the pool issues, I began raising my concerns with management. The blonde manager who works the front desk during the late mornings was kind enough to refund my April membership dues due to the ongoing problems. However, when I requested a refund for May, I was told she had gotten into trouble for issuing too many refunds and could no longer assist me. At that point, I decided to cancel my membership. I do not believe anyone should have to continue paying for services that are not being properly provided. I contacted corporate, filed a formal complaint regarding the pool situation and refund request, and closed my account. I have since joined the YMCA and have been much happier with my experience. Until significant improvements are made to this location, I would strongly encourage others to consider alternative fitness facilities. Hopefully management will either invest in meaningful upgrades or take the necessary steps to address the many ongoing issues affecting members. What is most disappointing is that they were apparently willing to lose a paying customer rather than refund $39.00 for a service that has not been fully available for months. In the end, that decision cost them far more than a single refund--it cost them a member.

You can bring your own lock and place your things into a locker as well. Huge parking lot outside. Looks like parents can drop off their kids at the kiddy area while excersizing. Nice! Check it out, but read the fine print first, otherwise they will bill you for ever. Years ago I had to help my neighbor to get out of the contract.

It is a very open, clean and bright work area. There are tanning beds which I have tried a couple of times and they are clean and work nicely. I have yet to try the massage chairs and the water table massages, but that is also included with my black card membership. It is a reasonable price for all the amenities you get. They don't play the music too loud. They do run the fans on high over the cardio equipment and I usually get chilly, but I am glad they are there once I get warmed up. There are TVs everywhere to watch news, soaps and movies. The workers are friendly and helfpul.

If something does break it's fixed within a day or two. Treadmills and other cardio equipment is all in good working order. Nice variety of free weights. The space is large and well lit. Equipment is decently spaced and easy to move around. There is a nice boxing area as well as designated area for HIIT type work outs. Locker room is always clean. You do need to bring your own lock. There are a variety of sized lockers and always more than enough to choose from. The sauna has ceramic tile floors which is kind of odd in my opinion as I am used to (and prefer) wood. My main complaint and the reason for only giving three stars is the music. Not only am I not a fan of the type of my music usually being played but also the volume. It is extremely loud and for no good reason. It literally sounds like a night club in there most of the time. It's annoying. If they could just turn down the volume a little so I don't need my NOISE CANCELLING headphones turned all the way up just to drown out their music I would give this place 5 stars.

Went in person to complain yesterday and notify them what was happening and to stop the charges for daughter and find out that they have just recently charged a renewal fee a week ago for said daughter for $59 and they refuse to reverse the charges. You have to appear in person to cancel your membership, they refuse to cancel over the phone or via email. And get this.... even if you cancel, they will still charge you for up to 30 days on the way out. Very shady way to treat customers. Won't be back.

I am introverted and have never felt comfortable in a gym setting but they really help you become comfortable and confident in yourself. I can tell a drastic change in how I feel and how my clothes fit. Plus after my 4 weeks I wasn't pressured into staying, I was told how well I had been progressing and told how to keep it going if I wasn't able to continue there for whatever reason. My whole experience felt centered around me bettering myself instead of just a business bettering themselves. Would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in taking back control of their overall health. Don't be afraid to take the first step because this place will make your journey so much better!
