When you walk inside, you are greeted by a multitude of different rock climbing walls to explore including options for bouldering, auto-belaying, partner belaying, and even a wall that is adjustable in angle and pathway that you choose to take. Alongside the rock climbing walls, this location also offers a gym space with cardio equipment, weight, machines, and free weights/squat racks inside one of their rooms. They also host group yoga classes in one of the 2 yoga rooms within the facility that are included with the membership fees. The walls themselves are well kept and offer a variety of difficulty levels for all levels of skill. They even have a wall that is in the "outside" covered space which can be a pretty chilly climb in the winter. All-in-all, this gym and rock climbing wall facility is great if you are interested in bundling the two activities together into one membership. At the time of writing, I believe the membership fee is somewhere around $120/month which includes all of the amenities aforementioned.

My wife and I signed up for a starter class, and let me tell you, the excitement is real. The scale of this place is jaw-dropping; every wall, every route, every corner feels massive and meticulously designed. The staff is top-notch, friendly, and clearly passionate, which makes getting started a breeze. It's the kind of place where you can feel the history and effort in every inch, and yet it's buzzing with energy and accessibility for beginners. It has a welcoming, large lobby, and it's well decorated throughout. There are quite a few options for working: Flexible seating so you can sit in any of the shared spaces, a fixed desk (sit/stand adjustable desk with some dividers), or a small to large office locked office space. There are ample phone booths and bookable conference conference rooms. Each member gets access to a high quality color laser printer and the break rooms are stocked with excellent Coffee and Tea. The only challenge is guiding your guests to find the elevator to Lifetime Work. It's very quiet, and the vibe is great for staying focused and productive. There's direct access to the gym too, which is a huge plus. The staff is always welcoming, and there's an open kitchen where you can help yourself to coffee and water. They do an amazing job keeping this place clean and inviting. The location is great for a co-working space. The only downside is the reception -- the cell signal can be pretty low, so sometimes it's hard to be on the phone. But using Wi-Fi calling has helped me a lot, so that's a good tip if you're planning to work here. Overall, I love coming here to get work done and would definitely recommend it!

This is my least favorite LA Fitness in the Portland area. Typically I work out in the Pearl, but the pool was closed so I drove out to Beaverton. Dealing with an injury, I'm walking with a cane and was immediately disappointed that the front door did not have an automatic handicap button. Upon entering, no one greeted me, they were too busy chatting with themselves. While the pool has stairs in addition to ladders, the steps are not standard height. A few of them are about 1.5 x the height making it extremely challenging for those with mobility issues. Not only are they too high, they are not consistent. Very dangerous! Yes, they have a chair lift for those in a wheelchair, but for others who are disabled and have difficulty going up and down stairs, this pool should have lower steps the way the Pearl and the NE Weidler LA Fitness are designed. I'm surprised this passed code. Bathrooms were not clean. I had to find paper towels to clear out the mass of hair from the drain before showering. Parking lot is super crowded, hard to find a spot close to door, and being handicapped, not enough handicapped spots so all were taken. Tried out this location because I needed to get my workout in, but when the Pearl is closed, I'll drive out to Tualatin for a better experience.

My son is 4 and is on the spectrum- finding a place he is comfortable at and well cared for has not been easy. We are always greeted by every single person who works there and the staff at the kids club is so incredibly welcoming and you can tell they really care about the kids. My son asks to go to the gym every single day - he has made friends, he is talking more, he is becoming much more independent and it is because of Villa Sports. Stacey has went out of her way to give me updates on my son and I feel like this place is so lucky to have her, and so is every kid that goes here. If I could list every kids club staff member I would because I truly love all of them. If you have kids, this place is for you! No question about it. On top of that, this place is clean, has so many machine opens, tons of free weights, a great pool and just wow - I will never go anywhere else and honestly neither should you! Yes this is a real review, no I wasn't paid to write it I just TRULY hope every parent who needs this gyms find this gym.

I was a little intimidated to be working with him initially. I've only had female personal trainers in the past, and I came into that session during a phase of life where I felt disconnected from my body. I felt very vulnerable and exposed to be reaching out for help to a really strong gym guy. During that session, Matt made me feel so comfortable. He was kind and encouraging. We talked about all of my postpartum challenges and he took notes on what mattered most to me and what I wanted from our time together. I really appreciated how he didn't assume what I wanted or needed just from looking at me. I left that session feeling empowered, hopeful, and safe in this space. (Not to mention he fixed my squat in that first session!) Over the last few months, with Matt's programming, I have gained a few pounds of muscle and lost 6% of my body fat. He writes my programs based on my schedule and what I enjoy doing. He's adapted my workouts to support my pelvic floor health which was a very big postpartum concern for me. Any fear I had of bringing up my pelvic floor to a male trainer were squashed by Matt's caring/person-first approach to training. If you are feeling vulnerable, exposed or intimidated, but ready to get some professional support in the gym, I cannot recommend Matt more highly. He's the trainer for you! In addition to my work with Matt, I began taking Reformer Pilates classes once a week with Kate. It is the most fun I've ever had while working that hard! The Reformer machine is such a unique piece of equipment and keeps my brain really interested and engaged in what we are doing. The glide of the carriage and buoyancy of the springs feel so unique to other types of equipment. It's SO fun- horizontal jumping anyone?! But also, so challenging! Luckily for me, Kate is an incredible instructor! Her cues and prompts are spot on and always help me correct my form and activate the right muscle group. She moves throughout the room and provides individualized encouragement and coaching to each of us. Kate also facilitates an awesome vibe in the class! She is fun and friendly and has created a space that feels welcoming and easy to enter into, even as a total beginner. I'm extremely thankful for the team at Villa Sport who have made me feel like I belong while also achieving my goals. 10/10 recommend.

I have specific requirements and limitations due to a disability. I wrote to many gyms in the area, and the fantastic owner Tony went over who they where, what they did and invited me in to see if we would be a good fit. He spent a lot of time with me looking at what I was able to do and making customized adaptations with things I had trouble with. It was so easy to say yes, and sign up on the spot. Then I met his other trainers such as Kathy and Chris who will work you, don't get me wrong, they will push you to be your best while never overdoing it and working with you to make every workout different, enjoyable, and after you are done you come out feeling so positive. I went through some medical issues, and Tony was so great accommodating me for the time I needed off, and we resumed as soon as I was ready. They are worth every penny, and I cannot express how much of a part of my complete positive life change, their company has been a vital part of. Lastly, the facilities are immaculate and private and have every bit of equipment you would need for a fantastic guided workout and overall work plan. They take your goals, and make a customized plan (that does get tougher as time goes on lol) but it is just you and your trainer, private and intimate, but the gang there are such great personalities, sometimes the banter between the team while you are getting healthy and fit, is the best part. Best choice I could have made was joining Tony Magden's Fitness Together!

Plenty of parking. Lovely landscaped grounds, mature trees, beautiful. Eight indoor tennis courts and seven outdoors. Plenty of room around the edges of the courts, which I like. Nice to have a bench on each side, lots of clean towels. Recently remodeled bathrooms, very stylish, light, modern. All-you-can-drink no charge delicious ice water. The pool is always busy, looks wonderful. The hot tub is popular. There's a picnic garden which families use all the time on warm days, with picnic tables, grills, shade trees, grass, a play structure. Downside: The courts don't get cleaned very often. The roof leaks when it rains hard. They have a high school swim team that takes over the pool and the dressing areas when they are here. Wish you could buy a glass of wine in a stem glass, and beer on tap, and a few light snacks that don't come in a bag. An easier system for reserving court time, although I have no idea how they would do it. Move the fireplace to a different location so that you could see what's going on on the performance court.

It wasn't as grand as other sporting events I've been to at other clubs. I'm glad I went though. The pickleball courts were outdoors. And of course, the weather played a factor. At times, it got windy, which blew a little bit of debris on the court, or knock the ball out of bounds. We got sprinkled on briefly. We had 6 courts to use, 4 were nice. Of course, my first match was on a temporary court that shares lines with a tennis court. It was hard to see the pickleball lines because it was a faded color that blended into the tennis court. A fellow competitor mentioned that for the first 6 points, she kept using the white tennis lines, and that was out of bounds. The tournament experience was good, even though I lost all 4 of my matches. I still felt good that I competed in singles against much younger women, just shy of my 65th birthday. A couple matches were fairly close. I would totally enter another singles tournament, just not on outdoor courts!
