It's conveniently located, parking is easy, there is always plenty of room and plenty of racks available. I've learned so much from Alex and I am extremely grateful that she has kept me safe and injury free while increasing my strength. I definitely would recommend her to people of any age who want to increase strength in a safe and fun manner.

Alex did all my programming and coached my form by video. In the two years we worked together he took me from being constantly injured from squatting incorrectly to making consistent progress week after week. I had been lifting for about 10 years before getting coaching and my results skyrocketed: Squat pr 235lbs x1 to 380 lbs x 5 reps Deadlift pr 300 lbs x 1 to 451lbsx2 reps Bench press 200 lbs x1 to 266 lbs x 1 rep Press 65lbs x 1 to 198lbs x 1 rep I never would have gotten to my current level of strength without Alex's expert coaching. He really knows his stuff on barbell lifting. Since starting with Alex I have not been injured from lifting once. I feel great, and understanding lifting and barbell programming way better then when I started. I highly recommend going to this gym and booking a coaching session.

I have…read moreabout a moderate fitness level and have worked out at various private gyms for the last 5 years or so and was searching for somewhere closer to my home and in a smaller space with a different vibe. An Instagram ad got me in the door and I signed up for the 1-week trial. After being on a month and a half sabbatical from my last gym, I didn't find the cardio class to be as difficult as I thought it would be. I thought the pacing of the class was good and several people advised me before and during the class to take breaks if/when I needed to. I also took a strength training/weight class that I didn't find particularly difficult to get through and the trainer offered modifications to exercises as needed. What I really like: 1. They show you the moves before the class and they are also displayed on the screens as you move through the workout. 2. Small classes, I think the classes I've taken average about 15-20 people moving at whatever pace they need to. 3. Variety of classes and times available. There are several classes in the morning and the afternoon which are spaced out well for folks that may prefer early morning or evening. 4. Scheduling through the app is super easy and convenient, I've scheduled up to the day of a class. I really like this place and I look forward to coming here regularly. It's definitely not as overwhelming as one of the bigger chain gyms, I think the class sizes are somewhere around 15-20 and it's just a really good vibe for my fitness needs. Also, as someone who was paying $300/month at a private gym for semi-personal training, the pricing at F45 is a steal and I wish I'd found them sooner.

It's been 1 year since I started visiting this LA location…read more They have a good variety of machines (cardio, strength, weights); it's a little limited in terms of spaces; the "personal training" area is very small and it's missing equipment; there's 2 classrooms (one for spinning and the other for all the other classes like yoga, etc). This location has a pool, hot tub and sauna. My interactions with the staff have been very friendly and useful. Often they have machines that need to be maintained/repaired. In general they keep it clean too. It's packed around 5pm-8pm. But pretty enjoyable weekend mornings (8am-10am).

We are nursing students looking for a gym close to school where we can decompress after long classes and clinicals, and this experience completely turned us off. The employee assisting us looked like Cousin Skeeter and immediately had a nasty attitude from the start. During the interaction, he randomly brought up the fact that he owed Planet Fitness $600, which honestly explained a lot about the bitter energy he came into work with. He appeared ungroomed, disgruntled, and angry, and it was very obvious that whatever frustration he had going on personally had absolutely nothing to do with me. I politely explained that I was already familiar with the gym and that we did not need a full tour -- we simply wanted to see the membership rates so my friend could sign up. Instead of listening, he repeatedly insisted that we "had to finish the tour," which made absolutely no sense considering we were literally there ready to spend money. When I tried to explain again that we just wanted pricing information, he responded with, "Do you want the pass or not?" in an extremely rude and aggressive tone. That is not how you speak to paying members or potential customers. What made the situation even worse was the lack of professionalism afterward. When I asked for the employee's name, another staff member at the front refused to provide it and appeared to give me a fake name of Herbert instead. The entire interaction felt hostile, dismissive, and unprofessional. People come to the gym to relieve stress, not to be talked to with attitude and forced through a sales pitch they already said they didn't want. If someone is ready to sign up and spend money, maybe focus on customer service instead of acting irritated that customers are asking simple questions. I was honestly going to reach out to corporate, but I genuinely do not even have the mental capacity to keep dealing with someone who is clearly miserable and determined to spread that energy onto complete strangers. Nobody with a happy life walks into work treating people like that for no reason. Completely unacceptable experience.
