It's really a very special community, unlike any other group Pilates I've experienced. The classes were fun and challenging and we felt like we got a full body workout with each class. The classes at our home studio are 45 minutes but Jolene's were an hour which really gave us the opportunity to take time with each movement and stretch in between each exercise. The facility is clean and has every equipment you need; I've never once been without a machine I needed. It's 24hrs which is so convenient and the staff is always cleaning, helping people and so friendly- especially Dawson! My favorite part is the red light which can be hard to find. It feels so good to use before a workout. The price is fantastic and the atmosphere is very cheerful. Everyone is respectful and serious about working out and I really enjoy being here. I come from the Hollywood film industry, 35 years now, and have worked with the best Trainers For The Stars there are; Stephen, who trained Arnold Schwarzenegger during his Mr. Universe period, George, who trained Sylvester Stallone for the 1st Rocky movie, and Lou, who has trained a lot of Hollywood's elite, among other very good Personal Body Trainers, and in between have always had a gym membership working on my own. I benefited from working with them all, however, by far; the best trainer I have ever worked with is Michael Haskett! In the short time I've been working with Michael I've recovered from a shoulder injury that has bothered me for almost 3 years, a rib injury, lower back and knee injuries. My strength, flexibility, and posture have tremendous improvements, again in just a short time! He has not had me working with actual weights, other than Sandbags, only my body. My hour with him per session consist of warm ups, exercise and cool downs, and I go home feeling it, hot, sweaty and feeling great! He has encouraged me to hike, cross country ski and bicycle on 2 of my days off, only pushing it one day. The coaches are super positive, engaging and motivating and the members are like one big family. Each workout is different so it is constant variety. You will be challenged but not in a way that is undoable like you may think when you think of Crossfit. I am not fit and have neglected fitness for a long time, so this was a great place for me to be a beginner. I am loving it so far (just completed my 25th class!) and feel great.
