After all, I was used to doing pilates, yoga, and going on walks several times a week, and I knew how much work it took to get results. However, I've had back problems and injuries for years, so I'm always open to trying new workouts to see if they can improve how I feel. My trainer, Kathryn, is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is funny and conversational, and just a total sweetheart. She explains that it is the quality, not quantity of a workout that is the most important; the weight-training exercises, done correctly, will bring you to "failure" very quickly, and then you work in that tough spot, until you can no longer do it. That is why Slow Form works, and why you don't do it very often. I'm the most fit looking, and the strongest, I've ever been. I love knowing that my workouts are efficient, and how my trainer tracks my progress to make sure I am improving from week to week. My back never hurts from these workouts. Seeing Kathryn every week is so great, and the ocean view doesn't hurt either.
