Classes are no larger than eight people most days, and each person gets to work at a built-up mat with a tower. So the first 30 minutes of class are traditional mat followed by some work with bands, bars, etc. It's a great 45-minute workout, and she is incredibly focused and fun at the same time. Robin was certified through the authentic Joseph Pilates group in New York, so she's the real deal. I've been with her for about a year and have been impressed with the body changes.

Columbia Training Academy -- formerly Heart of America -- is a great place to learn MMA and…read morekickboxing. All the people there are super nice and easygoing, and I feel like I get better every week. The program has grown a lot since I started there, and it seems like there are new people coming in to train all the time. If you've always wanted to do MMA, this is a good place to start, even if you don't plan on fighting any time soon. There are plenty of people who come just to have fun and work out in addition to the serious fighters.
