The aesthetic and the attention to detail when it comes to these desserts flawless, and exceptional. I enjoyed every single bite of my dessert. It was fluffy and it melted in my mouth, and I wish I could just eat my screen right now just looking at it lol. For drinks, we got hot chocolates, and they had one of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted, and I'm not exaggerating. It was the perfect drink and taste to eat my dessert. Location: The location is very pretty, but it's pretty casual. The seating is pretty close to other guests in the restaurant or tables of two if I'm not mistaken. This is a perfect place to go with friends or family or on a quick date or by yourself. This place looked like it was located on a main street with street parking, but because I was visiting in Toronto, I'm not sure how the parking works as we took Uber. Service: The service was great, and they were very friendly and answered any questions regarding the desserts on display to help us pick the perfect one for ourselves. They also brought the food to our table, including the drinks. I 100% would go back to this location.

We ordered Midnight Cherry Royal & Choco Elderberry Noir along with their paring cocktails. Both were absolutely pretty and delicious! Service was impeccable, very proper that makes you feel like a special guest. Ambiance is very elegant and luxurious, totally insta worthy! (or to have a romantic date)

C'est bon! I've scoured the city for great croissants and this place hit the spot. Crispy,…read moreflakey and buttery. Chef's kiss. The neighbourhood might not remind me of Paris, but the pastry kinda does. I think the problem with all French pastries in North America is that we don't have the quality butter. That aside, it was still really good. Staff was friendly. Can't wait to be back.

The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant throughout my visit. I stopped in specifically to try one of the bakery's signature items: the croissant. As someone who appreciates laminated pastry, I was unfortunately disappointed. A great croissant should have a delicate, crisp exterior, a light honeycomb interior, distinct flaky layers, and a rich buttery flavour. This one lacked those qualities. The crust was thick and rigid rather than crisp, the pastry was noticeably dry, and it lacked the buttery richness and delicate layers I was expecting. There are many factors during lamination, proofing, and baking that can influence the final result, but this croissant simply didn't deliver the texture or flavour I associate with an exceptional one. Perhaps my expectations are high. I grew up with a neighbour from Paris who regularly made croissants from scratch, and those set a lasting benchmark for me. While the croissant wasn't for me, the warm customer service was a solid highlight. If the review was just just for this aspect, a solid 4.

You can eat inside, but they also have an outdoor patio if you'd like to watch Roncesvalles go by-- note that it is uncovered, though, so it could get hot in the summer. TURMERIC CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH (5/5) I usually find whole-grain breads to be dense and a bit stiff, but theirs was incredible -- the crust had a perfect crunch while the inside stayed soft and fluffy. I was genuinely surprised by how light it felt. The chicken was still moist and well seasoned. The cashier that helped me was extremely kind, recommend to toast it, and sliced it in half for me. MATCHA PISTACHIO COOKIE (4/5) The cookies were just as impressive: moist and tender in the center with a subtle crisp around the edges. You can really tell they care about texture and quality. This cookie is made with almond flour so you'll expect crispy yet chewy texture you'd get from a macaron. It highlighted both matcha and pistachio flavors well, usually I feel bakeries don't capture those subtle flavors well enough, but they did well! SESAME COOKIE (3/5) This sounded interesting to me because there was tahini in the ingredient list, but I didn't love it. I'm not much of a cake cookie person, but if you are a shortbread snickerdoodle person, I think you'd enjoy it. COLD BREW (5/5) Refreshing and balanced. They have a cute history on how they first started selling their bread a decade ago at a coffee shop and finally became their own. INSIDE It has two tables to seat a party of 4 and 2. The store itself is full of tasteful products selected by the owners and many made in Canada! Hoping to come back to try more of their sourdough products, looks like that's their bread and butter.
