A very aesthetical coffee shop, technically it's just a coffee bar in the lobby/ground floor of a commercial building, it's got lots of sunlights great for that coffee photo. The drinks and pastries are good quality, it wasn't busy when we visited so everything was ready quickly!

Good vibes with relaxing ambiance. Although the space is tight, without seating, it's a good place to grab and go a quick sandwich and a nice drink. The service was friendly and quick.

I feel an affinity for this cafe only because I used to buy their gelato during the summer when they were previously located at Brimley/Sheppard in Scarborough. I finally decided to find where they are and it turns out they're right by the underground TTC subway entrance by the emerald buildings and whole foods. The interior decoration is very chic and modern. The pop art of the girl on the wall makes me feel that could be me if that type of editing was done to a photo of myself lol. I've visited twice so far - ~7:30-8AM on weekdays as I work downtown. During every visit, it's empty but people would start coming in after I ordered. They offer a variety of hot cafe drinks, coffee, tea, and baked goods (sweet and savoury pastries). According to the staff, you can get any hot latte iced (even if their tv menu doesn't indicate that). During my first visit, I ordered an iced Toronto Fog. It was not how I remembered London Fogs tasted like. It was sort of weird and herbal. Personally didn't like it. I also ordered a scone and butter tart. The butter tart was SO GOOD but it was so fragile it spilled into the bag and couldn't be saved because it was so sticky. The scone was good but it felt a bit salty. During my 2nd visit, I ordered the Military Latte, which is matcha + chocolate + espresso. I didn't realize this was a thing that I had been ordering for years at Starbucks haha, but it felt nostalgic and was delicious. I should've ordered it with non-dairy milk lol. Also ordered (not seen): blueberry muffin and chocolate chip sea salt cookie. Those were good and not too sweet / salty. I will be back!

I found out about this place via Too Good to Go. I love everything I received. I will be going by more often as it is close by.

They packed the cake in a beautiful box and thankfully it was on a sturdy bottom so it didn't move during the delivery and looked so good! The cake itself was very good, a lot of strawberries with the whipping cream and cake were not too sweet so it balanced with the natural sweetness of the strawberries very well! It was also very light which was great as we had activities planned. We ordered it the day before and the cake tasted great the next day so easy to store leftovers. Would be interested in going to the store and trying more things in the future.

The online ordering process is smooth and convenient, and the final product genuinely impresses. I'm taking one point off only because it was impossible to reach someone by phone. Communication is email only, which works, but it does feel a bit arms length and takes away from the personal touch you'd expect from a boutique bakery. A quick call option would elevate the whole experience. That said, the pastries and cakes are excellent, and I'd happily order again. Enjoy-Zuk.

We stopped by a couple times while in Toronto and while we were impressed initially, realized there were much better elsewhere. I nabbed the last pineapple bun with butter since it seemed highly coveted, as well as a normal pineapple bun. The pineapple bun has great flavor but tended to be a little dry. The butter helped a lot, but the bun without butter lacked the moisture - although maybe it was because we didn't buy it fresh in the morning? The trend with the pineapple bun does seem to be that the bread itself is a little dry but the ones with fillings, such as chasiu or butter, gives it the moisture it needs. The egg tarts were standard. Not bad but nothing special - and not something I would come back for. I also got a wife pastry that was not very good. Price wise, it's definitely a little steep. But it may be worth to not having to drive in poor weather to get to Markham or Richmond Hill. I do recommend coming in the morning while the pastries and buns are still fresh - it does seem to be better during the day versus at night.
