On 8/16/2025, I went to Valvoline (3452 Airline Drive) for an oil change. I have been a loyal…read morecustomer at this location for over two years. During my visit, the technician Monroe told me my right headlight was going in and out and asked if I wanted it replaced. I agreed but asked for the total cost of both the oil change and the bulb replacement before proceeding. Monroe assured me they had two bulbs in stock. He and another technician, Christian, attempted to replace the bulb but broke it in the process. Afterward, Monroe admitted that they actually did not have the correct bulb--despite previously saying they did. I submitted a claim with Valvoline, which led to a meeting with the manager, Morgan, three days later. Unfortunately, this only made the situation worse. Morgan was dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. He refused to acknowledge what happened--even though the bulb was working before his team broke it--and he would not reimburse me for the $20 bulb. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. As an African American woman, I felt disrespected, ignored, and devalued as both a paying customer and a loyal one. The way Morgan handled this situation shows a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. My warning: If you are a woman or a minority, stay away from this Valvoline location. They do not respect loyal customers, and management refuses to do the right thing when their employees make mistakes.

He was more interested in having conversations with his coworkers than the actual service. What upset me was that he handed me the next appointment sticker for my oil change to do it myself.I also had to request them to reset my oil change light.it should be the service technicians responsibility to do that and perform the "many" points inspection they claim to do. Avoid Mavis at All Costs…read more On 5/27/25, I brought my car to Mavis for new brake pads and rotors. When I picked it up, the brakes were worse than before--there was a loud metal grinding noise, the brake response felt unsafe, and the steering was suddenly off. None of these issues existed prior to the visit, and notably, Mavis made no mention of any other problems when they returned the car to me. I brought it back and was told--by the receptionist, not a mechanic--that the issue was my lower control arm. This was never mentioned during the original visit. When I asked for clarification or to speak with a manager, the receptionist became rude and refused to connect me with anyone else. I took the car to a trusted local garage, where they diagnosed the control arm issue and had to completely redo the brake job that Mavis had botched. I ended up paying twice--once for Mavis to make things worse, and again to get it fixed correctly. Despite all this, Mavis is refusing to fully refund me. They keep pointing to their "lifetime warranty" on the brake pads and rotors--as if I would ever trust them with my vehicle again. And if you get to the point of dealing with the regional manager, Don Harrison (737-389-6979), don't expect much. He either dodges your calls or talks down to you--especially if you're a woman. I was without a car for nearly two weeks, spent double what I should have, and was treated with complete disregard. Take your business anywhere else.

My state sticker was about to expire, and my usual inspection source did not have the two-year…read morestickers, so I went Yelp to find places offering inspections. Broadmoor Garage was near my office and their hours of operation were fine. An old friend told me years ago that Broadmoor Garage did ALL of his auto work, and he was very pleased. Well, now I am too! I got to the shop around 11:40, the technician (the invoice shows her initials as "JE" - I think her name is Jamie) was knowledgeable and efficient. When she told me that I had a burned out brake light, I thought "Uh-oh, here comes the adder! Shame on me, I was just charged for the price of the bulb (no "installation cost"). I can highly recommend Broadmoor Garage - at least for state inspections - but I suspect that that level of service and efficiency can be found throughout the organization. By the way, I left just after noon...very nice! I just saw my review on Yelp; I am not from San Francisco - been in Shreveport for 43 years!

I found out what it was. It was a bent rotor, so I took it in to have them fix that and replace it but no, they didn't do that at all. They replaced my fuel pump and charged me $2000 for it. They didn't fix my backseat right so the factory cover that comes on my Toyota seats is off. And my car still wobbles and shakes. They took it on a test drive and it was perfectly fine. They didn't see a single but the minute I got in it and drove it right off of started shaking violently! Toyota is now holding my car and doing a total review of my car to see if they actually the parts that they said they did and if they didn't, I will be suing you for that $15,000 back believe me just because everybody sees all those cars in their parking lot, don't let that fool you they don't know how to work on them. That's why there's so many fucking there. They source out their employees from the Spar Center clearly! Don't even reply to the comment either because I'm not coming back. I'm not even gonna come and get my spare set of keys because y'all are such a shitty company, you can mail that shit to my Bossier address! Now I see why y'all can't keep employees! Everybody sees what y'all actually about! The moment y'all realized we had money you wanted every dime of it so go fuck yourselves
