After searching around a little and asking a few locals for some good reliable mechanics in the area we eventually headed to this Doug's transmission place. Wonderfull southern hospitality. It looked a little sketchy at first glance but after entering its was really nice. We received extremely good service. Diagnostic test took about 30 minuets but was well worth it. I highly recommend this place. It's kinda hard to come by good honest reliable mechanics these days with modern day vehichles basically being drivable computers. Great place!!

BEWARE. SCAM ARTIST. Bought transmission from them. It was defective. I had to pay labor to remove…read moreand replace. Sent the transmission back to PATC and they supposedly repaired the issue. Second transmission failed exactly like the first one. Tried calling and was told by the owner FRED that he would not do anything. This company does not stand behind their products. The transmission has roughly 3k miles and that was just trying to diagnose their problems. End result owner FRED hung up the phone on me and will not take my calls. I am now out $4500 with a piece of crap transmission in my truck. I now call and them put me on hold for 10 mins and disconnect me. FRED'S personal phone line never gets answered and mailbox is full. Wonder why because this guy is a piece of crap.
