Upon scouring some of the reviews online, it seems like there was rave reviews about the Badland Automotive, and they proved to be true and correct! We got there a few minutes before it opened, and the owner pulled up a little bit after 8:00 a.m. he briefly explained what he thought the problem to be, went forth and used his diagnostic tools to assess the state of our car, and then reset some of the computers using his tool. Before we knew it, our Subaru was fixed! He gave us some helpful tips for the future, we paid him at a very fair rate for his services, and then we were on the way. We were so grateful for his help on our road trip! Five stars all around for service, promptness, and communication!

I had called around to several places and no one would help on such a short notice. Tyler didn't hesitate in saying he'd do his best to help me. After about 15 minutes they took my car in the garage. Two incredibly knowledgeable mechanics started working on it. They end up staying a bit past their closing time, apparently because they were helping me. I can't thank Ty and his crew enough. When everyone said "NO" Tyler said "yes he'd help me", and he never hesitated. I was entirely impressed by the mechanics who helped me. Unfortunately, we weren't able to find a battery, and I have to had my bike towed to Rapid (which cost me a pretty penny). They told us we couldn't drive it more than 25 mph and no way to get an appointment in Rapid City at 10am that day. So we agreed to cancel our plans and stay overnight for the part to be delivered. The next day they again made us wait several hours to know what was happening and then claimed "they" sent the wrong part- even though it was a problem on the left and order form was for a part on the right. Another hour of them trying to make the wrong part fit and they gave up, gave back our vehicle as it was. They also covered the inside of my vehicle- door & steering wheel in grease. They then said go ahead and drive it 60mph to Rapid City and I'm sure someone can fix it there today (noon by now) meaning they lied the day before to get our business. They did have free wifi in the waiting room but I wish I could have the 26 hours back we wasted on this place.
