*based on my first couple of experiences here* I've sold clothes about 3 times now and they've all been amazing experiences and FINDS :) A friend told me about this place (glad she did), so I decided to give this place a try. So i did a little research online, went through my closet and picked out all my winter pieces, and off i go onto the L train to BK. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon, the place was brightly lit, and huge... So I was greeted by a girl with an accent (australian?...she's very friendly, and made me feel comfortable; she helped me when i first tried selling here.) she asked if i was selling, and to go ahead and sign in on the clipboard, and told me there was a few people ahead so the wait was about 10-15 mins. So, I signed in and sat down, as I was looking at their wall pieces, they had amazing items; I saw a lot of labels from: Rag and Bone, Alice+Olivia,Marc Jacobs, Margiela, i was in H E A V E N! Five minutes later, my name was called by a male employee (that was quick). So, I was up and I believe his name was Steven asked me if I have ever sold here before, I said I have, gave him my ID and he was a sweetheart, he handed me back my id, told me if i had any questions, his name was Steven and that I'm welcome to have a seat or shop. So, i started looking through the jacket racks and found an amazing trench. Found some cute madewell basics in perfect condition. I was looking for a New Years dress but the dress racks were just so packed together i didn't bother. So, i went back up to see how I was doing, and he was still going through my items. He set two pieces aside and asked if I'd like to consign since they were higher end items, didnt know how consignment works, and he explained it to me very clearly, but i just told him I'd rather just sell them and get the store credit, but told him next time. He was very kind and knowledgable; this is how sellers should be treated unlike other locations i've experienced ! He knew what he was doing, he's always dressed so well too every time i see him (i wonder if he's single... or straight...) he asked if i had any new year plans, and said i do, but in NEED of a dress, and he asked if i found anything in the store, and i told him no, he asked if i was a size 4, and i said yes (okay, now that i think of it, what straight man would know my size?) DAMNIT! they're all taken or play for the other team! haha but he's adorable, so he showed me this dress on the wall that i did not see, and i DIEDDD, it was PERFECT!!! He made my new years dress search that simple. It was this gorgeous paneled fuscia dress by Johnathan Saunders. I love Johnathan Saunders and this dress was absolutely PERFECTTT. He knew my size, labels, and style; Steven is professional, knows his s*%t, and started off my new year on a great note (and dress), i am forever grateful and will be back to sell to him next time! read more

The worst sell in experience ever. Unfriendly and aloof staff. Also since the pandemic selling rules are in place it's been free range to lie about how they price their items and take things from resellers without any explanations. I didn't donate the rest of my clothing yet they gave me nothing back and gave me a pitiful $100 for 30 pieces of high end designer clothings. I will never sell with them again. I'd rather go to Buffalo Exchange, sell on Poshmark and better yet send my stuff to the Real Real. These guys over in Williamsburg are incompetent to price designer clothing, the male manager is in on being horrible to customer ad I've over heard the fat African American employee complain that it was my 3rd bag drop off. Guess what? So what I've got amazing designer pieces and it is why the were stolen by this crossroad location without explanation. I can drop off as many bags I want without having to explain myself. One thing I am sure of is that I'll never sell a thing there or shop there ever. Their inexperience on how to treat people is flagrant. Specially resellers that bring them the good label stuffs. I have yet to ever feel compelled to sign up for website to leave a review . My experience with crossroads was by far the worst I have ever had. Dealing with Derek the store manager was not only demeaning it was downright abusive! Total waste of my time. worthless experience . Perhaps it was because while I was waiting I overheard him him talking down to the staff. I rolled my eyes in disgust. Wasn't by chance when I was finally called to have the items I wanted to sell he was the person who made the effort to send the employee who asked for my ID to go on break. He then proceeded to tell me they don't buy basics. Lifting up my items and handing them back to me without even looking at them. I then sent a friend to the store with my high end items to see how she would do . They bought almost every item. If you want to be treated like crap this is the store for you! I will never go back again! Fyi reading the reviews . That heavyset guy people mention is the guy I reference in this post. Buffalo Exchange, Beacon's Closet is so much better and nicer to this Williamsburg shady Crossroad location. Snobby ratchet staff, wrongly priced when you are selling, not returning items and refused to pay for them with the new pandemic rules. I strongly recommend people don't go sell their items there. They deliberately take the items that aren't sold and decide to not return them!!! This location should be investigated by the owners or they might close soon. Too many shady under the table stuff going on there, like not returning resellers items and not paying their value as it supposed too. I wonder if the employees aren't taking the resellers items for theirselves. too weird what's going on there with the new unfair rules. I will most likely email headquarters about the employees shady practices at the store. read more

This place is brilliant. Best buy/sell/trade in the area. I'm so glad there's a Crossroads in my favorite shopping neighborhood of Williamsburg. Good vibes, It really seems like the staff here has turned around this past year. Everyone seems happy to be there. I made me want to shop. I sold yesterday to a guy who was great. I think his name was Darrell? I could tell he knew what he was doing, and he was fun to talk to. Also Donyale was at the fitting room, she's always super sweet. They also informed me that they give 35% cash back, which I just realized was more than other stores in the area like Buffalo Exchange. I'll definitely be coming here as my first stop when selling my clothes, or just to browse for the amazing high end pieces they get in! read more

I first found Crossroads in Evanston, IL on a freshman year college trip to Northwestern U. I gotta say I loved their selections at first glance. I did leave with at least three items at my first visit and have always gone back to visit whenever I visited from my college. One of my treasures was a $20 Coralynn Coulter dress, among so many Marc Jacobs gems. Fast forward four years to law school. I find an amazing Crossroads right nearby in Williamsburg. I've found an amazing American Apparel jacket for 12.50 (retails for...70?) and today...RED TORY BURCH FLATS FOR $32.50! Just my size too. As I've worn holes through my 2 pairs of torys, this was the best find ever! Thank you Crossroads! You are better than any boyfriend I ever had! read more

Employees at this location are just stealing resellers items under this new pandemic rules. I am an experience reseller of over 10 years with a store location in Manhattan. Not only that their customer service sucks. Barely answering customer's questions when asked. And the wait time to get serve is ridiculous as if they were doing me a favor. I dropped off 2 bags of designer clothing at this location received a pitiful $100 for 30 pieces of legit brand names items. I am talking high end items. DISGUSTING ATTITUDE BAD SERVICE WRONGLY PRICED ITEMS. DO NOT SELL YOUR ITEMS THERE!!!!! DO MOT SELL YOUR CLOTHES THERE. THE MANAGER IS VERY SHADY!!! This Crossroads location has really turned around. Yesterday I scored a DVF dress and Alexander Wang pants for under $80!!!!! I can't believe it. I hadn't shopped here in months but I'm glad I rediscovered it because it was such a great experience. Everyone who works here is super friendly, which is hard to come by in this part of the neighborhood. It's my favorite thrifty store from now on. Bright, clean, spacious, and upbeat! I especially enjoyed my experience in the fitting room. A male & female employee helped me pick out an outfit for my mom for her birthday. They were so helpful & friendly. I'm honestly in shock by the amount of high-end pieces I found here! This location is surprisingly spacious, but I feel like they share the same issue as the Buffalo Exchange down the street -- the racks are packed to the max and the place is always crowded. To truly enjoy your experience, you might need to take a deep breath, count to ten, make sure your therapist is on speed dial, and say a little prayer before walking in. All jokes aside, I do recommend this location -- just try it at your own risk! The customer service, however, definitely needs some improvement ASAP. read more

Selling: This place is perfect. If you have name brand stuff to sell it is especially amazing. The sales people are nice and generally ask me if im ok with a price when selling higher end items. If they dont take something go to Buffalo Exchange they are slightly less picky. Buying: They sometimes have a staff picks rack which is great. otherwise I stick to the sweater section/ dress, and the shoes up top. Occasionally Ill go through the shirts. I Have found tons of Madewell, Wallace, Jcrew, Cashmere etc.... The coats are good read more

Hands down, my favorite new find. I love this store. It's well merchandised and racks, while full, are easy enough to get through. I've not found so many things I like, everytime I go, as I do at Crossroads. The prices are great. Very good store second hand store. It's also merchandised well. Some second hand stores can be maddening, but this one has a great flow to it. It just makes sense so you can comfortably go from rack to rack. I don't feel overwhelmed at all. read more

The selection during the summertime was horrible for men. The staff couldn't get any worst at helping or judging you. I mean i feel like they would look down on me. Not calling them racist, (even thou i see no black staff members) but they just have a condensing tone. Especially the French looking guy Sheeesh. More less, they have nice fitting rooms... Compared to Buffalo Exchange, I can rarely find anything in this Crossroad's inventory. I tend to strictly usually find mall brands and near actual retail price points. I have asked employees several questions throughout my visits asking them about a particular brand or style and they tend to either ignore my question or don't know. However, it is clean and organized and in a great location. read more

When in the fact, he looks stoned and he just stands in there buttoning on his phone doing nothing all day. You d rather give your clothes to the homeless than be welcomed arrogantly by NINA, one of the members of the staff of this place. Her attitude toward a first-time customer was everything supercilious, and absolutely nothing to do with a supposed ''shared economy'' or ''collaborative consumption'' business model. I disagree with other reviews, maybe they had picky buyer staff people but I went in here with my girlfriend yesterday and they took a lot of her stuff. I had to help her carry tons of bags of mostly h&m stuff she bought. They took almost everything. We made money! read more
