The pain under my big toenail on my right foot would not go away. The pain the left foot under the big toenail was not nearly as bad. Dr. Mitt figures out what the cause was right away and fixed it with a simple procedure. When the pain got a bit dicey he gave me a shot to numb the toe. What a great experience. Instead I got a complete work up with x-rays and much more than I needed. Then I got a big bill which my insurance did not cover. Nothing was discussed with me prior to the procedures. I was there on time, so was PT but no front desk person so we started 12 minutes late. PT was fairly thorough, though she did not have me walk to see my gait (kind of important!), as she said she would. After testing strength and flexibility, I was given bands and a 5-page, double sided pack of exercises for most areas of issue, shown the bar code where I could watch videos of the exercises, and it was implied that I could teach myself. She went over two of the 12 exercises. Appointment in two weeks unless its helping and then I don't need to come back. While I understood the exercises for the most part, I felt rushed and like I was just another box checked off for this PT. If I feel I need to go back - it won't be to the wyoming/grandville office.
