The Croton Mini Deli goes by many names. My wife and I call it 'The Greasy Egg' but no matter what you call it, the food and service are top notch. Their fried egg sandwiches are the stuff of legend, balancing the crispy bacon, melted cheesiness and fried eggs with a dollop of ketchup and adding up to pure goodness. Our FAVORITE deli in Croton! We order lunch there weekly. Their sandwiches are delicious and filling, but not overstuffed. The food here is not bad at all. If you go during lunch they'll whip up a sandwich in about 2 minutes and it's fine. There's a cashier there, young lady- I don't know her personal life but she's in the service industry. While you're cutting my turkey, perhaps also whip up a smile. She seems utterly inconvenienced by customers. She's not mean but she's not happy to be there. I know the job can suck, but don't be rude young lady. I think they run numbers out the back.
