    Ukrainian Defender on a Hero/Wedge/Sub

Love Rocky's. Love that is there for us 24/7! I wish the prices were a hair cheaper and would accept credit cards too (cash only). The Ukrainian Defender is sooo good! (Chicken Cutlet, Bacon, Muenster Cheese & Russian Dressing Everyone is very friendly and accommodating there. At this point Rocky's is a Westchester Institution

This place is not a deli...its a Westchester County landmark!! They have been here as long as I can remember and haven't changed a bit. The people who work here are and always have been awesome..the place is right off the Sprain / Taconic..and the food is amazing!!! Hot food or cold sandwiches, dosen't matter, its gonna be yummy. They are the only deli ( that im aware of ) in Westchester that is open 24 hours...and is a great late night spot maybe after a few drinks ( im not admitting anything lol )..but this place will hit the spot...and on your way to work?. Rockys is known for fantastic Breakfast Sandwiches!! Im keeping this review short because my words are unnecessary...Rockys Deli in Millwood NY....If you know, you Know!!! Enjoy!!!

    I mean...c'mon...look at that sandwich!

My life would be made better with a deli like this in my neighborhood. A huge array of specialty sandwich choices, a large selection of deli salads, an insane amount of chips and refrigerated drinks-- and all of this available 24/7?! It's a cramped space and the people behind the counter can be a little surly but they're fun, so interact with them! Whenever I'm in the area to do some outdoorsy walks, I drop by for picnic gear and my day is made better!

Best sandwich in America. Best restaurant, best service, and great overall establishment. They have every food, chip and beverage and the workers are so nice.

By far, the most convenient sandwich purveyor in the Hudson Valley. It is a must go to place - except between 11 and 1!

The espresso is nutty and perfectly complements it. Will come back to try all the other flavors and see if their pastries are any good! Just ecstatic to find a new go-to coffee spot. I will say it was good, but they did also forget the balsamic which was frustrating. The mozzarella was fresh, which did make the situation a little bit better. I also got the salad and a Matcha latte. The Matcha latte was perfectly made and made with appropriate ceremonial grade Matcha so I was very appreciative of that. It did take longer for me to get my food than anticipated. Overall would come back again.

They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.

When we first walked into the restaurant, it struck me more like a bar with tables as it didn't have some of the French influences that I'm used to in the past at other restaurants. We were the only two patrons inside the restaurant granted it was 3:30 on a Sunday. The waiters were very warm, welcoming and pleasant. Both my Guest and I ordered the French onion soup to start. The soup was slightly above warm but not hot considering there was a chill in the area I thought this would be the remedy to regulate our temperatures. Immediately after our soup was taken away we receive our meals, no time wasted. My Croque Monsieur was okay, the taste of the ham and cheese was reasonable, but the bread used was kind of tough and challenging to bite, to separate a bite size amount, I was moved to using a fork and a serrated knife and that made it a little easier. We both had a little bit higher expectations for a French restaurant that met some of our needs, but not all. JTL

I Also noticed she brought bread to the one table and just ignored the rest. Food was very confusing. The seafood chowder was decent, the rest was just terrible. My meal consisted of three fried pieces of eggplant and about 1/2 pound of salad mix thrown on the top.. There is no ambiance. This is basically a french dive bar with a patio. Inside is old, dated, and esthetically bland. The aged outdoor chairs are basically gargoyle warning of the dread that lies within. This place is why I love restaurant week. I would not pay full price for a meal here.. Travelers beware..
