I waited a week and thought about whether or not to leave a review. There is not a worse place in an area already struggling with the vague concept of customer service. These are rude people. Do yourself a favor. Shop anywhere else. Leave the lake if you need too. Find anyone else you can before buying anything there. read more

We recently bought a Bennington tritoon pontoon boat from Crowe Marine. They could not have treated us any better. The sales process was done with no pressure and presented us with lots of great choices and loads of information. The parts manager was extremely helpful in getting us key accessories for our boat. The service manager and his staff did a great job of prepping our boat and adding our extras. Our boat was delivered to our home on time. The salesman and shop technician spent a lot of time showing us all the features of the boat. We could not be more satisfied with the whole boat buying and delivery process that we received from Crowe Marine. I highly recommend them. Thank you Crowe Marine. Great job. read more

Crowe Marine is a third generation marine dealership. We are located on beautiful Lake Oconee and serve the whole Lake Oconee, Lake Sinclair, and Jackson Lake area. We sell Bennington Pontoon Boats, Chaparral Boats, Hurricane Deck Boats, and Kawasaki JetSkis. Our Parts Department has everything you could need for your boat, Yamaha Outboard, MerCruiser Stern Drive, Rotax Jet Engine, or Personal Watercraft. In addition, we have a fully stocked accessories and watersports department, with all of your life jacket, waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) needs. We are your one stop shop for everything you need to have fun on the lake.

History

Established in 1959.

The dream began with fishing trips on the St. John's River in Astor, Florida. Two brothers, C.D. and Robert Crowe, along with C.D.'s son Bill, would leave East Point, Georgia and head south to "Ormand's Jungle Den Fish Camp" in Astor, Florida. After several years heading south for these fishing trips, C.D. Crowe approached the owner of Ormand's to buy one of his rental boats. The owner said, "you don't want to buy one of these beat up boats. I will hook you up with the boat builder and let you buy one at my cost." The boat company happened to be Orlando Clipper. C.D. traveled to Orlando, Florida in the mid 1950's and bought one boat. The Orlando Clipper was intended for personal use by the Crowe family and they kept it out in front of Crowe Sign Company in East Point, Georgia. One day a gentleman came along and was interested in buying that boat. This began three generations of our family boat dealership. You will still meet the Crowe family any time you come into our store!

TERRIBLE. HORRIBLE. PAY OVER RETAIL PRICING…read more Went it to purchase a new JetSki with CASH MONEY in my pocket. I was 100% serious about buying one the same day. Jet Thrust will not come off MSRP. Retail pricing, Ok that is fine, however, on top of paying retail they want to charge ridiculous amount of extra money for PREP and DESTINATION. You end up paying over a thousand dollars MORE than you should. That's pure dealer profit on top of what they already make (Invoice price vs Retail price). Google search indicates the prep takes a competent mechanic 30 minutes to accomplish. At $120 and hour, that's $60. Google search indicates destination charges are $125. (125+60=$185). Why are they charging over $1000 for something that is roughly $185? Folks, there are many other options for purchasing a new JetSki than this place. A simple google search shows many dealers within metro Atlanta. And places that will work with you on pricing. I took my business elsewhere and got a fair deal. Keeping a dealer in business with them making a living is one thing. Price gouging is another. People that are not educated with this continue to keep this place alive and well.

First, a huge shout-out to KJ, who handled our coach walkthrough. He was knowledgeable, patient, fun to work with, and incredibly informative. He took the time to explain the many systems on our London Aire in a way that made them easy to understand. Buying a coach like this can be overwhelming, but KJ made the experience enjoyable and gave us the confidence to start learning our new home on wheels. I also want to recognize Miles in the Registration Department. We were originally told our North Carolina plate transfer would take about 7-10 days, but due to a delayed paid lien release, we are still waiting more than six weeks later. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our planned trip to Canada because we still don't have our registration. While it wasn't the news I wanted to hear, Miles was honest from the very beginning. He treated us with compassion and respect, kept us informed every step of the way, and never made promises he couldn't keep. His professionalism and communication during a frustrating situation meant a great deal to us. Although the registration delay has been disappointing, employees like KJ and Miles are a true reflection of outstanding customer service. Their knowledge, honesty, and genuine care for their customers deserve to be recognized. Thank you both for making a difficult situation much easier to navigate!

Exceptional Service and True Customer Care at NIRVC Atlanta!…read moreWe recently purchased a 2021 Verona LE 40LTS motorhome and wanted to add an extra layer of safety with Rettroband tire protectors on the front tires before heading out as snowbirds. On November 8, 2025, while traveling from South Carolina toward Bryan, Texas, I called NIRVC in Atlanta and spoke with Nick Schwehr. Even though it was a Saturday and we were on a tight 5-day travel schedule (needing to be in Texas by the 14th), Nick was incredibly accommodating. He arranged for us to arrive on Sunday, stay overnight at their facility with shore power, and have the Rettrobands installed first thing Monday morning. We also asked to have the generator serviced while we were there -- killing two birds with one stone! When we arrived, Nick wasn't onsite, but his team was fully briefed and took excellent care of everything. At 8:00 a.m. Monday, they brought our motorhome into the shop without any delay. The waiting area was comfortable and welcoming, with a TV, freshly made popcorn, bottled water, and coffee -- the little touches that make a big difference. By early afternoon, the Rettrobands were professionally installed, the generator was serviced, and we were safely back on the road heading to Texas with complete peace of mind. NIRVC went above and beyond to work around our travel plans without causing any delays. Their team is professional, efficient, and genuinely customer-focused. If you're looking for RV service you can truly trust -- especially when you're on the road -- I highly recommend National Indoor RV Centers in Atlanta. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Man, the most pain staking wait I have ever endured. It was not the fault of Crowe Marine, everything is delayed because of this "pandemic". These folks are top notch when it comes to knowing the equipment they sell. I looked at a lot of run-a-bouts and they could not beat the elegance that the Chaparral presents. I only have 2 or so years of piloting a boat but, when we went out on the lake, I have never had a boat plane out so fast and cut through wakes like they are not there. When I arrived the service advisor wanted to check with the shop foreman to see if they would even consider working on it because of it's age (2008 model). He agreed and assured me they "specialized in Volvo". After a few days I received a text letting me know the estimate for diagnosing it would be $655.00. I called to speak to service advisor to understand why just diagnosing was so high. I asked what their hourly rate is and he told me they quote everything by the job and he would not budge on the price. Reluctantly, I let them proceed. After about a week, they texted with a repair estimate of $18K. I called to discuss again and the service advisor couldn't answer any of my questions so he sent me to the shop foreman again. He explained that a gear sheared a tooth in the upper unit and there is also metal shavings in the lower unit so they need to replace both. I asked about repairing vs replacing and he said they don't do that. We discussed multiple options of used units and sending out for a rebuild but he wasn't interested in any of those. Apparently, they only "specialize in Volvo" if its simple maintenance or easy parts replacement - actual mechanic work, not so much. The shop foreman was also a little rude and condescending. I was stuck with a $755 bill for diagnosis and shop supplies for a repair they weren't qualified/willing to complete. Never again... **Update** The Operations Manager saw this review and called me to discuss. He offered to refund my money BUT ONLY IF I removed this review. I guess customer satisfaction only matters to them when it's beneficial to them.

During our time on the lake we followed instructions to remain within a designated boundary to avoid rocky areas and stayed far inland however we hit some rocks and the prop had to be exchanged midway through our 4 hour block. We again drove under the bridge as instructed and left the boat in neutral in the middle of the lake for most of the remaining time block. We did not see any rocks which of course you would not in the middle of a lake but the new prop sustained minor damage a second time. We were charged an additional $500 for damages. In addition, we returned the boat early in an effort to avoid any further charges and we were ignored when trying to return the life vests for possible sterilization prior to re-use as we are in the middle of a Covid-19 pandemic. I would not recommend this company for your lake and water sports activities.
