There is an area for RV's and the store was well stocked. We had a small repair that needed to be made to our boat trailer, and we hit a snag with our bolts. The kind, helpful attendant (Renee) called her husband to bring what we needed. They went out of their way to help us and wouldn't take a cent for it. Wonderful experience. Nothing fancy here, just a perfect place to drop your boat in. It costs $5 to use the ramp, but the bathrooms are clean, there are several courtesy docks to tie up at and nice clean gas too. When I arrived the service advisor wanted to check with the shop foreman to see if they would even consider working on it because of it's age (2008 model). He agreed and assured me they "specialized in Volvo". After a few days I received a text letting me know the estimate for diagnosing it would be $655.00. I called to speak to service advisor to understand why just diagnosing was so high. I asked what their hourly rate is and he told me they quote everything by the job and he would not budge on the price. Reluctantly, I let them proceed. After about a week, they texted with a repair estimate of $18K. I called to discuss again and the service advisor couldn't answer any of my questions so he sent me to the shop foreman again. He explained that a gear sheared a tooth in the upper unit and there is also metal shavings in the lower unit so they need to replace both. I asked about repairing vs replacing and he said they don't do that. We discussed multiple options of used units and sending out for a rebuild but he wasn't interested in any of those. Apparently, they only "specialize in Volvo" if its simple maintenance or easy parts replacement - actual mechanic work, not so much. The shop foreman was also a little rude and condescending. I was stuck with a $755 bill for diagnosis and shop supplies for a repair they weren't qualified/willing to complete. Never again... **Update** The Operations Manager saw this review and called me to discuss. He offered to refund my money BUT ONLY IF I removed this review. I guess customer satisfaction only matters to them when it's beneficial to them.

They're easy to deal with, the boats are fun, and I think the prices are reasonable. During the summer it's $349 plus gas for the day. We use it for tubing and knee boarding. The kids love it,. Some tips: Ask for ski vests. They're free but if you get busted by the rangers without them, you'll get a hefty fine. Radios don't work, so bring your own boom box. If you are staying at Tugelo, it's very quick by water and easy to find the park once you you're on the lake, but bring a park map so you can find your particular camp site easily.

It doesn't seem to be super busy, especially if you get there before lunch - seems most of the local boaters come later in the afternoon. The lake itself is beautiful and very clean/clear. It also seems less populated than the nearby party lakes so if you're into casual swimming this is the place for you.
