Locally owned. They work on any make and model. Discovered them when I got a flat. Quickly fixed it and he explained that they do maintenance work as well in Hondas. Very reasonably priced for car oil changes, Brake service was quick and professional. Have had then done in both Honda and F250. They do not make appointments more than one day in advance. If we could rate lower than one star we would. Charged $200 for an 8.5 quart oil change. Called the office to inquire "prices have been going up" is what we were told. $100 parts $100 labor @ labor rate of $85 an hour. Other local shops are charging less than half for the same service and are done in less than an hour. AVOID unless you like to be taken advantage of. read more

Well I never would have thought I would be writing this review type of review for Greensboro tire. I have been a customer for several years and trusted them implicitly. However it the past 5 months I had two separate occasions when work was not done properly or not done at all. The first was a brake repair on my daughters car that was incomplete and created a very dangerous condition that could have caused a serious accident. When I addressed this with the owner he was very apologetic and assured me this type of failure would not be tolerated and he would address the situation. The second incident happened this week. Over a month ago they replaced the brakes on my second daughter's car. At the time they also charged me for an oil change. When we got the car back it did not have a window sticker for the oil change so I called to confirm it had been done. I was assured it was completed. Well today (43 days later) my daughter had the oil pressure low indicator turn on. She took the car to a repair shop in Atlanta who confirmed it was low on oil and the oil had not been changed. Again, I trusted Greensboro Tire so I went by to speak with the owner in private to share my frustration and concern about another performance failure. After these two serious incidents I expected them to make every effort to retain my business and make things right. I expected the owner to maybe offer to personally oversee any future work to ensure it was done correctly. Really any offer to "re-earn" my trust and business back because they had done so well in the past. What I got was another "I am so sorry" and here's your 35 dollars back for the oil change that we billed you for and did not complete. read more

Greensboro Tire is top notch! I was traveling through and had an axle go out on my cargo trailer. I had approximately 1 hour to find a place to tow it to. They answered the phone and accepted the job so I had it towed there. Both axles had to be replaced on my trailer. Long story short, when I found the axles the next day in Charlotte, NC, they had me going by 1:00 pm the next day. I can not say enough about the owner, Wayne. He is 78 years old and is the commander in the shop of the the business. He, his son and the young gentleman at the counter bent over backwards to help me get back on the road to Florida. This was not a normal job for Greensboro tire I was told. Wayne replaced both axles on the trailer in about two hours time from start to finish. (He allowed me to help also, and did not charge me extra for helping) I would recommend anyone to do business with Greensboro Tire! They are far beyond any other shops I have ever dealt with. i would give them 10 stars if it was possible. Thank You Wayne for getting me on the road so quickly! These guys are AMAZING! My friend and I were hauling some horses from Atlanta to Aiken and we had a trailer tire blow out on I-20. We called Greensboro, and they told us to come on in. They had an employee waiting out in the parking lot for us when we pulled in, and they started working on the trailer even before we had gotten out of the truck. From start to finish, the tire change took less than 15 minutes - something we very much appreciated as we had three horses still on the trailer and wanted to minimize their stress. Greensboro Tires is a LIFE SAVER! I was on my way to work (about 4 hours away) when I broke down on the interstate at an ungodly hour in the morning. The tow truck took my car there not knowing wether or not they would work on my kind of vehicle. I told him to drop it off anyway, and I'd smooth the details out later. Greensboro Tire has the best customer service! I have been a long time customer and recently purchased a new set of tires. The tires were definitely not compatible with my 09' Honda Accord. They tried adjusting them but they still did not feel right on the vehicle. After a week of driving on them I was just not satisfied. They actually took the tires back and exchanged them for another brand and I just paid the difference. I expected them to be difficult about me wanting to do this but they were very professional and wanted to be sure I was satisfied......Now that is good customer service! I don't usually write reviews, but was so impressed with their service I felt compelled to let everyone know. I always have that "fear of mechanics" where you feel like you may be taken advantage of, but I never feel that way at Greensboro Tire.
