Tina Burner is a fierce performer with a sharp rogue but fan friendly. Blows the PTown Brunch rulers away in PTown. Sass & Class.

Superb restaurant, club, & performance center. Rupaul's "Tina Burner" and drag icon Varla Jean Merman are the undisputed queens of PTown right until the last day of the extended season & beyond. Both are dynamic & visceral performers but very loving towards fans. Crown and Anchor is beautiful hotel with the most embracing staff & top notch food.

We saw the show Diva last night, and the performance was amazing. Delta Miles lead a beautiful and empowering show. Their cover of Tina's Simple the Best had me in tears. Drinks were good, over server worked the entire room, so please be patient. The decor on the inside was very cute. I will return!

Don't get it twisted. This is NOT a positive review. Rather than penalize the owners with shitty one-star rating for things they may not know are occurring, I'll give the food, the show (Varla) the 5 star they deserve, while sharing our bad experiences with certain of their service staff. The daytime host apologized for his obnoxious and unprofessional comments, so we'll skip to the outside bar: 1) Daytime bartender Scott was 100% on point 2) For dinner Mikey was super sweet and great service.. 3)Conversely the angry-at-his-own-life tall guy with the with the clown colored Mohawk-ish cut was RUDE AND JUST AWFUL. "Hey dude! You're in a service industry...get on board or quit!" 4) The server with the insane body and dark complexion...Snippy rude comments don't make you cute.. and they definitely don't earn you more tips. The formula to better tips is pretty easy...Service, smile, service, smile, service smile. That's it! I'm writing this so the owners know how their business is being handled.

    Mushy fish batter.

Fish and chips - meh. The batter was mushy. Chop salad was very good. Lobster roll - flavorless. Not very sophisticated. Mayo and celery. Brioche bread was toasted but still soft with a burnt flavor. Watermelon Fresca - was it supposed to have alcohol? Friendly staff.

    Deviled Eggs with Fried Oysters

This review is from Oct 14, 2018. We were in need of a nice bowl of clam chowder after our visits to the local lighthouses. Unfortunately most of the diners/restaurants/shops shut down around this time. Finally we found a parking spot and just started walking right. We came across this place. I didn't smell anything nor did I see a lot of people coming in and out, but we thought that might be because everything's shut down. We helped us decide on this place is Arman (probably got his name wrong as it has been a while), the outside greeter. He was very welcoming. Obviously we were extremely hungry and focused on our mission to have a bowl of chowder because neither of us noticed that it was a hotel/inn. We ordered a bowl of chowder, deviled eggs with crispy oysters on top, lobster roll and Oyster Po Boy. Amazing deviled eggs. Without a doubt, the fried oysters took this appetizer over the top. Our dining neighbors saw that we ordered this and they added an order. Since they only got one each, they ordered a second order of these. Cheri enjoyed her sandwich. The bun was soft and delicious. The chowder wasn't that great. My lobster roll was ok. Why is this a four star? The greeting and small talk with Arman, quick service and delicious appetizer. Here's What I Think...If you want to have a fun time, quick service and a delicious appetizer, please come check this place out.

Ask the Community - Crown & Anchor

What is the space like in the paramount theater? Do we need to get there early to get good seats?

Get there early , go eat and they will reserve you a seat. I got there at 630 for a 8pm show and I got front row seats reserved for the general admission section. It's a small space and fills up fast.

Can you get a cocktail in the cabaret room?

    Yes!

Everyone was looking relaxed and definitely not on the make. Customers skewed a tad older here, which made us feel right at home. We were particularly impressed that the veteran bartender had a mixing container dedicated to their espresso martinis, so of course, we ordered a pair for $16 each (photo: https://yelp.to/VmjWNmEyk0). EXTREMELY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE WITH THE WAITER!…read more This took place around 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 4. Our group consisted of three couples dining together. At the end of the meal, we asked if the bill could be split into thirds. Our waiter, Martin P., told us that he would not split the check and instead instructed us to write down exactly what each person ordered so that he could charge us separately. Although no other restaurant we visited in Provincetown required us to do this, we followed his instructions and listed our individual items. When Martin returned, he was visibly upset and stated that our payments were approximately $70 short. There was confusion because our group was trying to determine who had already paid, who had not, and whether something had been missed in the calculations. I even asked whether we were expected to calculate individual tax amounts ourselves, as no one knew what tax would be for each separate charge. Rather than calmly helping us resolve the discrepancy, Martin began yelling at our group. At one point he stated, "If I don't get $70, I am going to charge one of the credit cards that I have." This immediately concerned us. We were not refusing to pay. We were actively trying to understand where the discrepancy occurred and make sure the restaurant received the full amount owed. To resolve the issue, one of my friends and I went with Martin into a back room to review the charges. After reviewing everything, my friend agreed to pay the remaining balance immediately. The payment was processed and the bill was fully paid. At that point I was trying to calm the situation and bring it to a close. Instead, Martin became even more agitated and began yelling profanities at us. He shouted, "Get the f*** out of my restaurant! It's people like you why we don't split checks! You all need to get the f*** out now!" Other people started noticing this go down. We were stunned. The bill had been paid. Nobody was attempting to leave without paying. We were simply trying to resolve a billing issue after following the waiter's instructions. As we were leaving, my wife later told me that Martin placed his HAND ON HER BACK and guided her toward the exit. While it was not forceful, it felt unnecessary and added to an already hostile and intimidating experience. What happened next is why I ultimately decided to write this review. A few days later, while walking through Provincetown looking for a place to have lunch, our group passed The Mayflower Food & Drink and noticed Martin working there. When he saw us, he deliberately tapped on the glass to get our attention. After making eye contact, he made a hand gesture across his neck and pointed for us to leave and keep walking. The original incident had already ended. The bill had been paid. Yet days later he still felt the need to single out our group and signal that we were unwelcome. Had this simply been confusion over a split check, I would not be writing this review. Billing mistakes happen. What I cannot overlook is being threatened with unauthorized credit card charges, being screamed at with profanity while attempting to resolve the issue, being ordered out after the bill had been paid, Martin touching my wife, and then encountering the same employee days later making a gesture directed at our group from another restaurant. This experience was troubling enough that I believe others should be aware of it.
