Oh man oh man oh man... Where do I start? This place is honestly mind blowingly amazing! God has himself chosen a spot right next to a liquor store to place this amazing fast food fried chicken spot called THE CROWN FRIED CHICKEN! Prices are average and the food is delicious! Very very delicious! Honestly they have THE BEST PLAIN CHEESECAKE in town! And you won't even expect that! Like homie you gotta go here and pick up the fresh crispy chicken with some of them potato wedges they also got some spicy chicken tikka which is the chicken over rice for my platter lovers! Comes with that red and white sauce with a side salad Like I'm just saying these people out here hustling from 10am to 3/4am until they got food to sell and if you wanna go get some grub and not wanna be disappointed, this is your place!

Very local old tavern. Been here awhile ago. Food was very good and friendly servers…read more Things have changed. Ordered Burger which was over cooked on a stale roll. Prices are cheap. Service is ok. Not impressed. Might have picked the wrong day to eat there.

Small neighborhood pub with parking up front and street parking. The inside is on the darker side,…read morehas a square bar on the left side and about a dozen high-top tables to the right with several TV's on various spots of the outer walls. The crowd varied from some regulars at the bar to a mix of couples, friends and families in the seating area. I took my son twice for late Monday dinners and found only a few tables occupied. Our server on both visits was a kind and welcoming woman who was helpful with the menu. Their menu covers all of the bases - apps, soups, salads, sandwiches and suppers. They have specials posted on a whiteboard with a small tap list (several beers a few of which are craft). I had fresh Fiddlehead IPA on tap both times. For my first time I ordered the Soprano - Prosciutto, Spicy Capicola, Genoa Salami, Sharp Provolone, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion. Finished with Olive Oil, Vinegar and a Dash of Italian Seasoning. $11 They give a choice of seeded or non and of course I went seeded. I would say it's close to a clone of Mazzanti's classic Italian. I really enjoyed it and would order it again. The home made chips that came with it were fresh and crispy. Second go around I had The "Tip" Sandwich - Seasoned Petite Tenderloin Tips, Sautéed Onion & Mushrooms, American Cheese, Garlic Stick Bread. $14 Delicious portions of tender beef tip, a thick layer of American cheese, and a perfect balance of sautéed onion and mushroom mixed in on that crispy seeded roll made my night . Every bite was on point. My son ordered a cheese burger and said it was very good. He could only eat half and was stuffed. I would certainly return if in the area. My kid was happy we got to relax, chat and watched some college basketball. It's not the most spacious or brightly lit place, but those two sandwiches were great! Thanks guys!!

Formally called Bristol BBQ Poultry, the Amish smoked meat stand is inside the Bristol Amish Market…read moreand sells a full variety of German American style pork, beef, chicken and usual suspect sides. The aroma calls to you the second you walk into this warehouse sized market. Just take a number and wait on line for your chance to point and inquire. We may have overdone it, but ordered a whole spit roasted chicken, fried chicken breasts and wings, BBQ kielbasa and a quarter turkey. Although we purchased other things in the market, this was our largest haul. There is something special about interacting with a fully dressed Amish/Mennonite woman in frock and bonnet. Shyly friendly and endlessly willing to accommodate your requests, we found ourselves being more adventurous than normal. So far, we've tried the fried chicken (excellent when reheated in the air fryer), the rotisserie chicken (likewise), and the kielbasa (the sauce changes the bite & chew into a three dimensional experience). The turkey wasn't my fave, as I didn't care for the smokey flavor, nor the savoriness. Still, worth the travel time for the uniqueness of the experience. While we wouldn't rush back, we wouldn't hesitate to return when in that Amish black buggy mood.
