Service was great. The young lady who waited on us was super bubbly and energetic. Ambiance is lovely. It is situated directly on the dock so you get water flowing under you. Boats are docked nearby. Food can be hit or miss. I am a big fan of crab cakes, but the crab cake platter was 2 premade frozen patties, French fries and 5 carrots for $36. Menu stated baked potato. Canned beer was $7 and no drinking glass served with it. For that price we should have gotten chilled mugs. Jerk chicken platter was a large portion and very good.

I haven't been here in a few years. The atmosphere and location on the Delaware River is unmatched in the area. Very relaxing, laid back. You can arrive by boat! Decent drink menu. I had the jersey salad with added shrimp. The grilled shrimp were good but cold. I'm used to restaurants serving them warm so caught me by surprise. They were juicy and cooked perfectly. The Krabby Dip with artichokes and spinach was really tasty! I tried a bite of the pulled pork burger special. The pulled pork was really dry. It was a huge sandwich - burger topped with pulled pork and onion rings. Others had the Buffalo bill burger special and no complaints!

Late Friday afternoon and the place was busy. The bar was full and I took the last empty seat. It was a middle- aged to older crowd, mostly couples, surrounded by shabby & dated decor. I would have preferred to sit on the patio and watch the boats on the river, than sit at the bar alone. $15 cocktails (8.50 during happy hour) are served in plastic cups. Food is managed separately and the bartenders have to call over a server to take your order. I didn't find something that sounded appetizing as the menu was very limited, had minimal healthy choices, and so I left. This area of town has very few restaurants and certainly not on the waterfront. Its location combined with having music on the weekends, would be a reason to return. However, the high prices, run-of-the-mill menu and drinks served in plastic cups all added up to a dull experience. I will look elsewhere to have drinks and entertainment this summer.

This place was eh. Food & drink were pricey & nothing to write home to mom about. Service sucked. Ambiance on the deck & live band were decent. Location, not the greatest. Maybe they cant control location but it is off beaten path. Local area shows it. Rode right past entrance the 1st time. Marina view is decent. Deck & live band were cool. Band was a Spanish band playing, not my thing but they did a good job of getting their patrons out of their seat and dancing. Food & drink are overpriced. $13 for cocktails, the Cherry Kiss was ok-I've had better. I got pork roll sammich-unoriginal but I love pork roll soo....... Friend said couscous salad was good, once again pricey, $18!. Krabby dip was ok. Our server Kim (that's what it said on her necklace) was the worst. Took her about like 25 mins to finally come up to me and asked if I had been served yet. Then the whole night, we had to spend flagging her down to get things. we would run out of drinks then have to sit and wait til we saw her again. Clearly not on top of things and her tip we left her showed. She said there were no happy hour specials, but there were drink specials, ummmm ok, to each their own. 1 final note: WHEN SITTING AT HIGTOP TABLES AND THERE IS A BAND THAT COMES ON, THEY STOP SERVING FOOD TO THOSE TABLES AT A CERTAIN TIME! STUPIDEST THING I EVER HEARD. We came on a Friday night, and the band was set to come on @ 7, got there like 5:30ish, and not all girls in my party arrived yet. SO we were told this like 5:45 and if we wanted food we had to put it in by 6PM. Well we had to call our 1 gf and ask what she wnated to put in (we made an executive decision for her). So they will still serve drinks but not food. Utterly ridiculous! They must not want us to drink. .............and for that reason, I dont see myself going back EVER!

On a nice day, this space is great in scenery. The outdoor benches aren't the most comfortable, and every item on the menu (potato chips, etc) are a la cart . The menu is simple, nothing fancy. They do have specials. On the day we visited the one lunch special was already sold out by 1:00pm, so don't be surprised if they run out. They are a busy place. Service was nice and friendly, portions were generous.

This place is situated beside Curtains Marina along the Delaware River. Outdoor dining experience with the bar centered on the deck. Most of the table are under cover and also tables with umbrellas. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Daily dinner specials. Jamaican jerk ribeye was delicious. Could also substitute with pork chops or chicken. Exotic drinks were amazing (orange crush, watermelon lemonade and rum runners). Also frozen pĩna colada.

    Hidden gem!

Not up for a drive to the shore? Stop in Curtains for that bayside feel. Situated right at the marina with a totally open restaurant design. Regardless of seat, you will experience the waterside breeze and sun (if you want it). Tables with umbrellas on the open deck. The food is always good with a nice mix of surf and turf. Always friendly attentive service. I love this hidden gem. Almost don't want to share.

this boat, is used as office space, we think?

The restaurant is in this cute little area with shops, restaurants and bars and is a popular destination because when we were leaving out after finishing our meal the place was jam packed and there was at least an hour wait (but no wait when we came in thankfully). It's important to note that this is NOT authentic Mexican food ... but it was pretty good nonetheless. The margarita flight was cute and gave us the ability to try a few flavors out before committing to a large one. The favorites were the white peach and pineapple margaritas (the other 2 in the flight were the traditional and prickly pear). We ordered the Crab Mexican Street Corn for an appetizer and while it was loaded with crab, it wasn't Mexican Street Corn ... it was seasoned corn with old bay and a few other ingredients topped with crab. I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Combo Fajitas which was a nice portion size (I took 3/4 home) and the flavors were pretty darn tasty, but when you order fajitas you expect the "sizzle" and these didn't have that nor were they have the right temperature ... they were just warm when I wanted and expected them to be hot. The refried beans were yummy despite them not looking too appetizing but the rice was too soft. Service was good overall and pricing was also reasonable. If we're in the neighborhood again and in the mood for margaritas we may just stop back in.

The inside was clean and the bar area I sat at although small was a decent spot to have a drink and grub. The staff was mostly young kids who were very nice. The chips and salsa they offer were boring. The salsas both roja and verde lacked flavor, mostly spice. The chips were fresh, but thick and bland. I think a thinner homemade style would work better. The first bartender I dealt with was great with the menu. She recommended several menu items. I ended up rolling with the Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas at $18 - jumbo lump crab, old bay cream cheese, tiger shrimp, cilantro and lime rice. The lime rice was worthless. It had zero flavor and was dry. The Enchiladas were creamy, but lacked spice and complexity. The tiger shrimp had a delicious grilled, moist flavor and were the best part. My second trip had a newer bartender who was getting her feet wet. She was friendly, but busy familiarizing herself with the bar so I went simple and ordered Birria Tacos - $15 Braised beef, onions, cilantro, lime Oaxaca cheese, consommé. The beef was dry and not tender. The shells were ok. The best part was the lime Oaxaca cheese and the consommé somewhat helped me get the beef down. The portion was very small. Not a good value in my humble opinion. The other patrons were mostly young and enjoying margaritas. I think booze is the draw to this spot. Without it your just getting average Mexican grub. Heck of a location in the Borough, but my visits left me longing for a hot pepper!

I am not sure if Management has changed but whatever it was / is needs to be addressed immediately for the sake of not losing customers. Asking to be seated at a different table other than the one we were initially seated at (bc it was right by the door and the wind coming in was freezing) was the first red flag because the hostess seemed bewildered and bothered that we wanted a new table despite there being 50-11 other open tables throughout the joint. It literally then took 15 minutes before our server greeted us and it just kept rolling downhill at a faster and faster rate by the minute. Appetizers done before our cocktails arrived, cocktails done before we could order our entrees, entrees arrived missing key components and it took a good 10 minutes before we could get our server and the minute she walks over she says oh you need the ABC ... ma'am! If you KNEW what we needed why didn't you immediately address it without us having to flag you down???!!!??? And the reason it took 10 minutes to flag her down was because the rest of the floor staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off ignoring diners trying to get their attention. Oh and the best part was that there was this "figure of management" present ... and I say "figure of management" because he was also ignoring diners and not checking in with them like a restaurant manager typically does ... he was only going to the empty tables cleaning them, slowly adding place settings, rearranging the empty tables ... trying to look busy!!!!! It was honestly comical at one point. We asked for boxes for our food because we still never received all of what was missing despite our server acknowledging it was missing and stating she would bring it back. We literally never ever received it smh . My BF told her this was the worst service we've ever had and it probably didn't even phase her because her attitude overall was just sucky from the beginning. If this is all because of new management they need to go on and get new new management before this place's reputation is ruined.

The first thing that caught my eye was the avocado toast appetizer. I'd had lots avocado toast in my day (I am from California, after all), but never with grilled shrimp! So I ordered it as my meal. I figured that it would be enough along with the Cesar salad and haricot verts that we ordered for the table. I was right! Not only was it delicious, but I was satiated. My partner and my friend both ordered dinner meals: the red drum fish and the miso cod. My fork snuck little bites of each. Again, delicious. The size of her place has at least doubled since she opened and the food is still amazing. However, if there is a complaint, it would be that the menu has somewhat fallen into a rut. When Jules first opened the selection of fish changed fairly often, with some "standards" always appearing. The last couple of times we have been here, the standards are now the menu, with not much in the way of Specials. That is really a shame because of the variety of fish that was being served, with some we had never seen before in other restaurants. This is not to say that you shouldn't try the place - it's definitely one to check out but for repeat customers it needs some variety.
