a buffet with a variety of food items
    Ilene S.

Not the best pictures but the buffet was full of traditional Chinese food such as egg rolls, ribs, chicken dishes, shrimp dishes, fried rice and lo mein. In addition to a large sushi section there was a ton of seafood options: snow crab legs, peel your own shrimp, mussels, oysters and more. Plus American food options: chicken fingers, fried shrimp, French fries and salad. The meal ended with different desserts cakes, cookies and ice cream. Service was fair. They never refilled our drinks but did remove our dirty plates each time we went up for more. The place was packed on a week day holiday. Come hungry and you can definitely eat your moneys worth of food. I enjoyed the sushi, the fried shrimp and the bacon wrapped chicken the most.

Came for lunch on a holiday so they charge the dinner price and provide a more extensive menu. I was impressed with the amount of seafood/shrimp and loved the large peel em shrimp. They did have the Alaskan crab legs and other types of crab but they aren't huge - as usual you will get people who load up their entire plates with crab legs. Service is good with frequently cleared plates. Enjoyed myself with the array of Americanized Chinese food. Nothing fancy but plenty of options.

A really big food selection, especially of seafood. The only problem is, is that the foods are so crammed together, as well as the restaurant seating. We felt like sardines or cattle, and it ruined our experience. I had King crab legs, some (huge) shrimp cocktail, sushi, cheesy crab bake (my favorite) and a few desserts, including ice-cream (Hood brand). My partner had General Tso's chicken, and a lot of other goodies, like dumplings, and crab rangoon - even some from the American selection (thumbs down on the mac and cheese). He liked everything else, but wasn't blown away. I concur. The $18.99 dinner ea price tag was/is a bit steep. Id say $15 would be more fair. We said we'd go back again, but for the lunch buffet, when hopefully it wouldn't be as packed! Good luck!

Always love coming here. Great food and food is always fresh. I recommend doing their hibachi. For $20 dollars per person what a deal! Definitely come check out this place

Snow crab legs and clams on the bottom

The buffet offers many options of food selections. It is all you can eat including the snow crab legs only for dinner but all day on Sundays. It's self serve with attendees clearing away your plates and bowls of crab leg shells and clam shells The people working there are very friendly and the atmosphere is that of Chinese music playing with Chinese decoration. I come here at least 2 times a month with my wife who says this is one of the better Chinese buffets that we go to.

The variety is great and everything we tried tasted fresh and well made. Nothing felt like it had been sitting too long and the staff was constantly maintaining the stations. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. The staff working the buffet line were also all really nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there which makes such a difference. Food wise there were a lot of standouts. The chargrilled steak had a really nice flavor and the prime rib was super tender and juicy. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were light, bright, and flavorful instead of heavy. The mac and cheese is an absolute must. They use big shell noodles with a creamy cheese sauce and toasted breadcrumbs on top which gives it great texture. The collard greens were surprisingly one of our favorite things and we went back for seconds. So much flavor. The spiced shrimp is a hidden gem and definitely something we grabbed multiple times. The pizza was also surprisingly good. We tried the mushroom and spinach and it honestly tasted like something you would get from a really solid pizza spot not a buffet. The only thing I would say is the chicken parm is hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. If it has been sitting it can get a little soggy so I would try to grab it when a fresh tray comes out. Pro tip leave room for dessert. The dessert section is incredible. The gelato was rich and creamy especially the chocolate. The croissant cinnamon roll hybrid was flaky on the outside with a soft gooey center and the cookies and cream cheesecake was rich without being too heavy. I also really liked how the seating is set up. You can sit on either side of the buffet and choose between booths or tables which makes it feel a little less chaotic. This is definitely a spot we will keep coming back to when we are at Borgata.

The carving station had a salmon larger than I've ever seen too. Also appreciate that they offer a spiced version of the cocktail shrimp. Huge compliments on all of the sauces they offer to go along with your food (steak sauce, au jus, melted butter, etc.).

It features your staple Chinese buffet items, hibachi, ramen, and high quality sushi. As a bonus, there are four flavors of boba tea available complimentary! Just a funny thought in my head: why do they charge for soda when the more exotic and better bubble teas are complimentary? But hey, no complaints about it from me. I have tried almost everything in the two visits. The best items to get are the sushi, bubble teas, the braised pork belly, and the hibachi. Everything is exceptional too. The only dud that I've come across was their "deviled eggs". Complete miss there, it's just a boiled egg with seasonings on it, somebody didn't understand the assignment. Everything else is delicious. Props to them for having interesting desserts too, there were mochi, creme brulee, ice cream, and some cakes to name a few. Lobsters and crabs were abundant. I learned about this place awhile ago from YouTube of which many gave praises. We frequented many mid level AYCE places like this and we've found that as time goes by, quality degrades with restaurants like this. Now there was a rather long length of time between discovering this place on YouTube and actually visiting this place. I wonder if the praises that were sung about this place were still valid. I would say yes. As previously mentioned, lobsters and crabs were abundant and makes it worth the trip on that alone. As for the other offerings, it was mostly surprisingly good. Don't expect Michelin quality food here. Generally, it's about the quantity BUT the food is pretty good. The sushi/sashimi shocked me a little. AYCE sushi is usually just passable but here, I thought it was pretty good. Everyone in my group loved the quality of the salmon. Other offerings, of which there were many, were pretty good. Standouts were the lamb chops in my opinion. Dessert options wasn't as extensive as the other AYCE places I've frequented but they do the job. Aside from the usual fountain soda options (serves by the restaurant staff) , they had a few fruit drinks and a milk tea option as well as some specialty drinks in a can. Scale 1 to 5. (Keep in mind that this is based on quality you'd expect from a typical AYCE restaurant. Food 5 (large selection of food and that shellfish!) Service 5 (Friendly staff and were pretty efficient in clearing the plates) Cleanliness 4 (Place was well kept. Deducted 1 star due to the stickiness of the floor around our table which reminded me of a movie theater floor... lol) Value 5 One con to point out. The restaurant was rather large yet the bathrooms were small and couldn't accommodate a lot of people at once. Not a huge quibble as the wait wasn't astronomical BUT it did seem odd that the size of the bathroom didn't match the size of the restaurant.

visited this restaurant on a Saturday for lunch and was informed upon arrival that there is a…read more2-hour limit for dine-in, which is something to keep in mind, especially for larger groups. The restaurant itself makes a great first impression--it is very clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of parking available outside, which made it convenient for our party. The dining area is spacious with lots of seating, and they also offer private rooms that are ideal for large gatherings or special occasions. We had a group of about 20 people, and overall, the service was quite good considering our size. The servers were attentive, accommodating, and fairly quick in clearing plates and assisting when needed. It didn't feel like we were being neglected, which can sometimes happen with bigger parties. The highlight of this place is definitely the buffet. There is a wide and impressive selection, especially when it comes to seafood. They offer crab legs, whole lobsters, lobster claws, oysters, crabs, shrimp, and more. For seafood lovers, this is a big plus. The sushi selection is also extensive, and the fish tasted fresh without any strong or fishy odor, which speaks to the quality. In addition, they have a carving station, a variety of dim sum, and a good selection of soups, giving guests plenty of options to choose from. That said, there are a few downsides. The dessert section is quite limited compared to the rest of the buffet. There are not many options beyond basic ice cream and fruits, which felt a bit underwhelming considering how extensive everything else is. Another issue we noticed was that the restaurant only provides one crab cracker per table. For a large group like ours, this was inconvenient and honestly not very sanitary, as multiple people had to share the same tool while eating seafood. I also took the time to check the restrooms, and they were clean, which is always a good sign. However, I did witness a concerning situation where a staff member left the restroom without washing his hands. That was disappointing and raises concerns about hygiene standards. As a restaurant worker, maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices is extremely important. Overall, the food quality and variety are excellent, and the experience was enjoyable for the most part. The restaurant has a lot of potential and does many things well, but there are a few areas--particularly hygiene practices, dessert variety, and small details like providing enough utensils--that could be improved to make the experience even better.
