The teachers seem to be just well-educated parents, not professional educators. My child has expressed feeling unwelcome and excluded by the other students. She describes the environment as one dominated by "rich kids who are stuck up and fake." The school claims to be anti-bullying and inclusive, but my child and many other kids, especially international students, feel left out . I transferred my child here hoping for a better environment since the last school caused significant anxiety, fear, and even panic attacks. Unfortunately, it's become clear that this was not the right fit. Now, I'm considering pulling them out.

We…read moreenrolled our kids in their preschool childcare services and have used the program for about six months. We also paid for a few months of the Mommy & Me class. My kids love playing on their playground. They have real objects like walkie talkies, a phone-booth setup which serve as reference points to give a better grasp of history when they get to school. Ms. Megumi does a great job of maintaining the garden. There are bugs, butterflies, seeds, and plants the kids interact with, and the kids even get to eat vegetables from the garden. The school community puts real effort into family events. The Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and the Christmas Fair are fun for both kids and parents. While the cost reflects local market rates, this program is supplemental.

I'm delighted to write this detailed review of my family's time at Child's World Preschool…read more Our oldest son started at CWPS in the Summer of 2021 during the summer program and we only dipped our toes in, doing just 2 days a week on the T/TH schedule. We enrolled that fall in the 3 day a week program M,W, F. He loved the school, and loved his teachers Miss Miki and Miss Marisela. It felt very magical from the beginning, from the fantastic play yard to all the smiling faces and happy kids. We knew early on how much we enjoyed the school so we enrolled our youngest daughter into the Parent/Toddler program as soon as she was eligible at 18 months. Miss Colleen was wonderful and we faithfully did every session until our daughter was 3 and old enough for the main pre-school program. And she started her pre-school at 5 days a week right away because she was so prepared and ready for it thanks to all of her time with Miss Colleen. Our son went up to 5 days a week for his pre-kindergarten year. He had Miss Tami and Miss Miranda and our whole family loved Miss Tami so much. We started feeling that sense of teacher loyalty. So we admit we were secretly hoping Miss Miki would be our daughter's pre-school teacher too because we were so happy with her, only to find out that Miss Jaime was the perfect match! Our little one blossomed so much during her year with Miss Jaime and Miss Cherie. We finally realized ALL of the teachers are fantastic. So as she was cruising through her pre-kindergarten year last Fall with Miss Betty and Miss Lisset, our family was beginning to feel nostalgic and the distant sting of not having Child's World in our life anymore after 4 wonderful years. It has been a pleasure dealing with everyone at the school from Miss Cindy to now Miss Mai as well as Miss Kelly and Miss Donna, the administration team has been steady, professional and helpful. We also want to give a special thanks and mention to the wonderful other teachers on campus like Miss Cece, Miss Carolina, Miss Amber and Miss Megumi who also made a personal stamp on the hearts of our kids. We loved all the events for the whole family especially Family Fun Day in the Spring and the Christmas Fair and Pancake Breakfast. Both of our kids always took part in the chapel days as well and they loved it, but we never felt any pressure to participate in church events. We can truly say that our experience with Child's World has been one of the best things about our life as parents in Orange County after moving here about 6 years ago. We took so much joy knowing what a wonderful head start they were getting on school, socialization and life outside the house in general. And we are so grateful. Thank you Child's World!

The staff there are professional, patient, and include enthusiastic and passionate teachers with experience and the joy to be teaching these children. 2. There are various levels of lessons, such as, basic and competitive. 3. There are small classes, basically meaning a private lesson with around 4-6 students. 4. Customized learning pace and active feedback 5. Reward system with fun gifts that both boys and girls love! My daughter, a current sixth grader, joined a math lesson in this learning center two months ago and since then, she loves to come to this learning center to meet her new friends and learn together! In the meantime, her math improved dramatically along with her gradual development of self-confidence in math! Highly appreciate the help from this learning center, including the teachers, staff, and peers! Therefore, I highly recommend trying it out!

The most important is that their teachers are very experienced and provide well organized and well though slides for each class. So I know what they are teaching and what is the homework clearly. My kids learned how to think deeper and use more than one way to solve problems. They summarized all the key knowledge in one easy to use folder, it covers all the key materials cross Elemmtary, middle school and high school. It helped my kids to understand the knowledge much faster and deeper. For the reading and writing class, the teachers provide well thought pre-class review questions. It encouraged my kids to review the materials before the class, so they can bring their questions to the class as needed. It makes the class super efficient and helped them follow a good study habits. Overall, It sets my mind to ease and gives me a moment of peace that my kids will be well prepared for their future challenges. Additionally, the center has its own library, from kindergarten to high school, kids can pick a book and read.

Now I'm taking my daughter here and she loves her mommy and me class. She wakes up everyday wanting to go to school even though the class for her age is only one day a week. Also, one of the teachers here, her name is Mrs Bennett, is an angel of a teacher. Even after my son left to go to kindergarten, she got in touch with me to ask how his first day went on the first day of school! She cares about the kids and is so kind. She sets the bar for what a good teacher is and I'm so happy my daughter will get to eventually have her as her teacher too!! I would definitely recommend this preschool!

Homeschool charter family beware!…read more Dina and Ernie along with creative have effectively stolen all semester charter funds when our child attended twice. When the class he was placed in was not educationally appropriate we immediately contacted them to try to work things out. I formally met with them and they came up with a plan which I presented to his charter teacher of record. Dina repeatedly ignored the teacher of record's advice and continued to push him into classes of an entirely different grade. They also charge for a full year of material fees, but will not provide any materials. They take days upon days to reply to correspondence so that they can push out the timeline of their withdrawal policy, therefore keeping extra funds and then they have the audacity of demanding more. They also completely lied to the charter when we made complaint stating that they had spoken to us on the phone when they can't even reply to an email. But don't worry you'll get all of their marketing spam and they don't have an option to opt out. This review is posted after numerous attempt attempts to try to resolve this with them. This "learning" center is truly just a "money grab" center.

I am not boasting but he had about 20 words at 16mos, so we had very high hopes for his future schooling, but can have an aggressive streak and is head strong. Way smarter than I was at his age, but I digress. He went for a summer program at 2 and then started the fall to summer program turning to 3 yrs when covid hit. Being away from his school really affected him I think as tantrums multiplied. He was starting to progress finally and the nature and play based program they have is incredible for kids so missing that friendship time was something he didn't comprehend. His teachers Miss Marta and Miss Libby went above and beyond to do video "circle time" with the kids during the heart of the pandemic. Now that safety measures have been instituted and the school has reopened we have noticed a marked improvement in his expression and behaviour. Let's face it, it can be hard to have the structure at home for learning especially when you have an even younger one to boot. It is an incredibly welcome relief to have such a great place to watch over and teach our children. I had meant to post this last September but forgot and since then the school and community has been through a lot! We are so thankful the school survived the fires and the surrounding community came together to help each other during these crises. We had to pull our son out of school because of financial hardships, which happened to coincide with the fires and raging pandemic, but hope to have him back to see his friends soon.
