The front office does not seem to offer many activities for children, and I only saw one child during my experience here which leads me to believe that the target audience served here is likely the elderly. There are restrooms available, though, likely not for public use. Bring your own water because there are no fountains around! Unsure about the staff, other than Jessica, at the front desk being friendly and helpful! Both ladies managing the front do a great job. I was referred here by Carolyn Weaver, at St. Vincent De Paul to Doctor Tek Fish. He is no longer accepting patients at this time, and there are 4 alternate providers who are taking new patients. My appointment was with Doctor Barnes. I have Molina insurance. This clinic offers inserts for $65 and custom orthotics for ~$600. There was an ease of scheduling and the clinic also offers additional out-of-pocket treatments. Unfortunately, insurance only covers custom orthotics if you are diabetic. Clover Podiatry offers the most affordable custom orthotics in the Vancouver area that I have found. Thank you for a positive experience!

I just knew that my foot would never heal completely and that it would be a burden for me for the…read morerest of my life. A deep, aggressive melanoma invaded my heel and the surgeon took a lot of my heel off, like 60%. After surgery I was eventually shipped off to wound care (that's another review) where they started the process of getting my body to naturally fill the gaping hole in with a wound vacuum. Eventually, as the hole filled it was time to start thinking about the end game, getting walking on the heel again. Wound care suggested I contact Dr. Justin Tidwell at Legacy Foot and Ankle, he knew about this type of procedure. The very next week I found myself on the second floor of the medical center next to the hospital in his waiting room. Dr. Tidwell walked in and unwrapped my bandages and took one look and said, "No problem, we can cover that up." Simple as that. His staff is wonderful, really caring and confident, like Dr. Tidwell. I went back several times to get the skin graft set but then I came down with an infection and a hospital stay (not his fault) which put off the graft until this massive nasty infection was cleared up. Eventually we were ready to pull the trigger. We did the circle jerk dance with my insurance company but eventually they granted me the synthetic skin graft. One office visit, less than 25 minutes, some synthetic skin and a steri-strips and orders to continue to stay off it and I was out the door. As of this writing I am still sitting with my foot up in the air mostly, but so far so good. Talking to people in the waiting room they couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Tidwell whether you were getting reconstruction, ingrown toe nails fixed, skin grafts, it didn't matter he got high marks. I am ready to get my life back and it is happening a heck of a lot quicker thanks to Dr. Tidwell and his staff. Obviously being in a hospital complex handicapped access gets an automatic A++.

He said in his notes that I did not want certain options to protect my foot while it healed. He actually had not made me aware of my options. He was visibly annoyed. In an accusing manner, he asked if he could trust me to use the equipment. I was confused. I was getting two messages at once. I see that Legacy states that they are committed to transparency, and that they post all reviews. They are aware of these issues with this doctor, and flat out denied that any of my statemented experiences about my appointments happened. Legacy is at fault for this. He seemed oddly defensive about my requests for more information. I got no information at all about how to use my equipment, other than that I should use it, i.e. I was not told whether to wear it all night or not. I told the doctor I did not want pain medicine, and he also seemed not to listen to this. All of these errors were avoidable.

He also sold me plastic inserts for the inside of my shoes which I did not ask for. When I paid the bill I found it was $2,000 for all of this. I was flabbergasted at this and they wouldn't allow me to say no after I paid for them. I will never give a good review for this business. He's a crook and I've talked with many others who experienced the same as I. Maybe there are other good feet stores but this one is crooked!!

While The Good Feet Store does sell footwear, they have an extremely small selection. Why? Selling shoes turns out to be not really what they do. What they do is sell a system of various inserts for one's shoes to help with various ailments that cause foot pain and discomfort. The footwear they sell has (presumably) been vetted to be effective with their insert system. I was greeted by the sole employee shortly after I entered by being asked whether I had an appointment or not. I told him that I was really just looking for another pair of shoes, and he remarked about my Brooks footwear being great. One of the brands they sell is Brooks. He added that they may be able to fit me in for a fitting if I could wait for an hour or so (that a fitting takes approximately 45 minutes). Since I didn't have the time to spare, and since I only needed a new pair of shoes, I opted not to wait. He gave me his business card and said that I could call at any time to make an appointment. At this point, I was still a bit confused, honestly, because, as I said, I'd just entered and was looking to purchase a pair of shoes. I'd have really appreciated it if the employee had explained to me what they do since he seemed to have assumed that I already knew (which I didn't). How I found the answers that I included in my introductory paragraph was by reading the signage on the walls inside of the establishment after the employee finished with me to tend to the other customers. I'll consider their system if I ever find the need to, but if you're just looking to purchase footwear, this is probably not a good place to go.

I would've missed the open window so I called the guy back again and he told me something I never heard before. He would've stayed 2 hours extra after closing, especially on a Friday, to help me with my medical item that I seriously needed. Thank you so much, I recommend this place to anyone that needs anything medical related. People aren't this nice anymore but this business was. Please go to these people, you won't regret it!
