They simply could've locked the door and even put a handwritten sign on it that said closed.

I walked in and was immediately greeted, they knew what service I needed and gave me color swatches to choose from and seated me in a pedicure recliner. I wish I knew my nail tech's name, but the young man who did my pedicure did a great job and I'm so so happy that I was able to check Nail Styling Salon out! I was in and out in about an hour with my feet looking pretty and softer than ever. Parking can be time consuming depending on the time of day, but if you're used to being in downtown this is nothing new. The technician did not seem to know how to properly remove tips and ended up breaking my natural nail in the process. Once completed, my nails were extremely uneven. I was never asked to wash my hands before the gel application and was only told to do so afterward, which was concerning. The tools and techniques used were unlike anything I've experienced before and did not inspire confidence. Less than a week later, my nails are already chipping and the gel top coat is peeling off completely. For a $70 service, this is unacceptable. This is by far the worst nail service I've ever had--uneven, poorly balanced, and already coming apart within days. Very disappointed.

Once maybe a tech was digging a bit deep and I told her that and she apologized and went lighter. No harm no foul. The owners know when I feel like talking and know when I feel like being quiet and respect that. Have always had a great experience. I specifically asked if the time was good to get them fixed more than once and the owner kept saying, "yes, just come in". Went today for the refund and the same technician said I could only get a refund if he cut them off. I agreed and he decided to cut the tip incorrectly and cracked the nail into my nail bed. He also stormed off once I expressed my concern and I had to cut them off myself. You can see the nails were already lifting from the cuticle. Unacceptable. Save your money.
