I used to take ALL of my cars here when in need, and let's just say I'm an 'aggressive driver'. I have NEVER felt more disrespected by the people who work the front desk/ answer the phones. They acted like they were doing ME a favor by taking my money. They don't smile, say hello/ goodbye, they're not friendly, warm or inviting. Give them a call and see for yourself. Barf. The front desk/ phones are SO important, as they are the first point of contact with the customer. I now take my cars to Toyota Collision Center for repairs. They are friendly, welcoming, and are appreciative of my business... maybe Crown could learn a thing or two from them. read more

I bought my brand new 2020 Rogue on Nov 3rd not even a week later Dec 6 I was hit in the back at a red light. I just got my car back today, Dec 27, from CP&B and I couldn't be happier My car had been restored to its former glory, you can not even tell it was in an accident! the entire experience with Randy Lamb & CP&B was easy and professional. I really would not give this company any stars. Recently had damage to my vehicle and took it be repaired. They have lied about repair time, never bothered to walk around the vehicle with me. Just called demanding more and more money. Then come to find out they ripped us off. They really aren't reliable...had issues in the past as well. I am over it! Done!! Car Owners BEWARE , insurance company states, " it has to been done by them" refuse! Never repaired my vehicle correctly nor went over ANY estimate or repairs. Waisted time lost wages. Had to take my vechicle 575 miles to my repair shop all repairs done in a timely manner. Plus, repair shop question the prior shops work. BEWARE of CLOWNs working in your vehicle. I brought in a 2017 Yukon XL for body work after we hit a deer. Not only is the front desk unprofessional and rude, the body work wasn't even done correctly. My headlights are now two different colors, and my tailgate has scratches all over in an area into the paint. I called out the scratches immediately at pickup and they made me feel like I should feel bad for calling them out on it. She offered to "buff" it out, but thats a joke when they are clearly into the paint. Next, after attempting multiple times to speak to a manager, I finally had someone call me back. He tried to explain that the headlights might "look different colors" depending on the light. No, one is clearly blue and the other isn't. Then, they asked ME to find a part number for the correct headlight! You gotta be joking right? Lastly, they wouldn't even order the parts they needed to correct THEIR mistakes until my insurance company paid. Oh and its now JUNE (and still not fixed) and this started in DECEMBER. read more

I have been meaning to post this for a while now. In November of last year, I hit a deer that caused quite a bit of body damage to my Infiniti coupe. For some stupid reason, I took it to Crown Paint and Body in Greensboro. Their customer service was astoundingly horrible, but the repair work was even worse. Below is a brief list of the problems I experienced: * The bumper was torn and should have been replaced. I think my insurance company balked on that, but I would have really appreciated them calling me about this. I would have gladly paid the difference to have a new bumper rather than a patched one. The work is far from well done, and since the entire thing was not repainted but just feathered in with a new clear coat over the entire bumper, a few minor dings in the paint from normal wear and tear now stand out worse than ever because of the new clear coat put on top of them without even any touch-up paint applied. (Again, I would have paid extra to avoid this, but I wasn't given the option.) * When I lifted the hood of the car, I saw that there was significant overspray onto the black plastic toward the front of the car. It was so incredibly unprofessional it was almost laughable. I had to remove it myself, which took quite a bit of time and effort. * When I started my car to leave the repair shop, the radio was tuned to a rap station. I don't listen to rap, and I don't enjoy thinking that someone else was joyriding in my car. (Even if they weren't joyriding and just running the radio, that still makes me angry.) Again, this is incredibly unprofessional. * Customer service: I was never once contacted about my vehicle, despite three voice messages my husband left for the person assigned to my car. I had been concerned that the insurance company might ask them to cut corners on repairs (which did happen), so we asked them to contact us about this because we wanted to be sure it was done right. This shop is notorious in the area for NEVER answering the phone, so my husband left a message stating that we were concerned and to please get in touch with us. No one ever called us back. The repairs were completed later than estimated, and when we finally did receive a message (an automated email - no one actually called) that it was ready, I took the afternoon off work, and my husband and I drove the 45 miles to the repair shop. Upon arrival, WE WERE TOLD THAT THE CAR ACTUALLY WAS NOT READY AFTER ALL AND THE MESSAGE WE RECEIVED WAS AN ERROR! (They actually admitted that this happens frequently.) This entire experience was horrible, start to finish. Whenever I told friends and acquaintances how poorly everything was done, they would ask where I had the work done. When I told them, many of them said, "Oh. Yeah. I've heard things about that place." I honestly have no idea how they are still in business. read more

Worse company ever and tried to rip me off. I went there this morning to have an estimate of my car which only has a small part of my back left side bumper was bend and some paint was off. First when I walked in, the lady in the front desk was so unwelcome you, and then I was asked to sit down to wait. The guy who served me seems very unprofessional, he kept looking around (not on my car) when he was estimating. Finally, he print out the paper and told me total will be $900!!!!!!! I went to other places to get estimate, all were around 500-700. So I took closely to look at the details, he put Mechanical Labor fee in there, which needs to cost $85/hr, and he put two hours total. Why on earth that this needs something like mechanical. I might not be an expert of the car, but I do know that my car was 2017 and this minor problem does not need mechanical to get involved. I guess he saw me as an Asian lady, seems pretty young and stupid, and can easily to rip me off of some money. Highly not recommend this place and please be aware. read more

I just had a horrible service experience at Crown Chrysler. I saw the technician pull my car in exactly 1 hour after my appointment time through the big window. The technician spent 3 minutes on my car and then said they couldn't fix it and charged me $113.30 for 3 minutes work! That comes out to $2660.00 an hour!!! Stay away from this place and especially George Hartzman, the Service Writer. read more

Ok, where do I start?? The body work I needed was not extensive and probably could have been completed in less than a week but my car was at Crown P&B for 14 business days. (A cracked headlight and a small paint crack on my bumper. When I called initially, I was informed that I would be kept informed of the status of my car if it extended beyond the estimated days originally given which was 4 days. I called after 7 days for an update..to no avail my calls where not returned. (Get this..they provide customers with a nice little post-card printed with a nice note on it who your "go-to" person is and a disclaimer for service that goes beyond delivery expectations. So I understand unexpected delays but you make it plain that customers will be kept informed and calls will be returned. If your employees take a vacation then someone should take their place normally?? Oh yea, the 2 1/2 ladies (one of them appears to be somewhere else mentally) at the front desk have the demeanor that would probably make most people re-think walking in the door. (Maybe put them in the body shop to assist with the repairs) They could use to customer service tng..Now for the associates that check in your cars, well I think they are doing what they have to do to pay their bills cause they don't seem to put forth much effort to getting your business, keeping your business or "being about business"..Think twice before going to Crown Paint and Body. I praying the paint doesn't come off my bumper when I wash it!! Do your homework first! Is Crown BMW "REALLY AFFILIATED" with them? Hummm... read more

The absolute worst auto body repair experience of my life! We waited weeks for our car to be completed and when we finally picked it up (the third time) it had new issues! The car was to be repaired on the left front end panel. There were no other issues. The car was returned to me with the beams not corrected ( supposedly not included in the insurance repair estimate) and new issues such as thousands of dollars of repairs they asked me to approve that were not covered by the insurance estimate. The air conditioner, which was working absolutely fine all of a sudden no longer blows at all and for $900+ they said they could fix that (which again was not having any issues until they got it. A bulb is out in one of the lights which they offered to replace for less than $200 (again, not out when I left it). They never updated us on the car during its 3 week stay except to request that we allow them to do the additional services/repairs. When we declined their offer, my car was "ready" and I was then informed of all the things that the insurance company refused to pay (supposedly) and my husband actually noticed the other issues(lights not beaming the same, air not working, etc.), they pretended to have no kowledge that these other issues were happening. It is when I left the car after 2 of the supposed "your car is ready for pickup" attempts that I was told the cost of the repairs for issues that were not there at drop off. Expensive scam of getting more money from trusting customers for this "joke of a reputable company" but no more money from me. I will now have to take it elsewhere to actually be repaired while they enjoy my insurance check and deductible. I will not be using them ever again and I will not be purchasing from Crown BMW as I had planned to in the next few months so I will have to just appreciate the warning. read more
