Let's be real and hold accountability , because this second cancel the day of appointments, messaging me hours before on IG asking to move my appointment earlier to then canceling is WILD . Original : I know the stylists have their own way of booking or dealing with affairs apart of the salon but I think it's wild they have a rebooking fee of over $30 if client has to reschedule last minute their appointments BUT when I get my appointment canceled TWICE by the stylist ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT , due to "family emergencies" that apparently always happen. I think it's wild that a stylist can waste a clients time and day considering the first time it was canceled I had planned to get my hair cut before my birthday trip and today it got canceled I had just told my boss no to coming in for a shift because of my scheduled appointment ... what do we clients get in return besides wasted time and lost money ? Unfortunately, the haircut turned out very uneven and looked more like a blunt, choppy cut rather than proper layers. Even from the sides and the back, it was noticeably uneven. Honestly, it looked poorly done. What makes it even more disappointing is that my friend naturally has very smooth, silky hair that she used to wear down all the time because it was one of her best features. She never used to tie her hair back. But after this haircut, she's been keeping it tied up because she no longer feels confident wearing it down. She immediately contacted the salon because she was unhappy with the result. I even suggested going to another salon to have it corrected, but she decided to give this place another chance and went back for a fix. I will say that Nguyen was professional and clearly skilled. She tried her best to correct the haircut, but the problem was that the first stylist had already cut the front sections way too short, making it difficult to properly fix or balance everything. Nguyen improved it as much as possible, but the front pieces were still too short and the overall haircut was already compromised. I even spoke to her husband about it, and he said, "Yes, she was crying in front of the mirror because she doesn't know how to style her hair anymore." Honestly, I felt really bad for her. My friend is very kind and kept saying it looked "okay," but the haircut truly affected her confidence. I hope the salon pays more attention to consistency and quality between stylists moving forward because a bad haircut can genuinely impact someone emotionally, especially when it takes months or even years to grow hair back.
