Edit: not the owner trying to make excuses instead of holding her stylist accountable. BFFR Period point blank I have made time out of my days to commit to our appointments and the first time I did have to change the appointment I stated IF SHE CANT ITS FINE WE CAN STICK TO ORIGINAL, no biggie I can make the original, and then she cancels like bruh we could have stuck to the original & then I couldn't say yes to appointments offered the following day or week because: 1. I had a flight the next day like at 6am 2. when I return I go back to school Mon- Thurs literally 10am -3:30pm and then 6:30pm-9 3. I work 14 hour shifts Fri- Sunday . Not once did she offer if I'd like another stylist , not once did she offer a real accommodation . Let's be real and hold accountability , because this second cancel the day of appointments, messaging me hours before on IG asking to move my appointment earlier to then canceling is WILD . Original : I know the stylists have their own way of booking or dealing with affairs apart of the salon but I think it's wild they have a rebooking fee of over $30 if client has to reschedule last minute their appointments BUT when I get my appointment canceled TWICE by the stylist ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT , due to "family emergencies" that apparently always happen. I think it's wild that a stylist can waste a clients time and day considering the first time it was canceled I had planned to get my hair cut before my birthday trip and today it got canceled I had just told my boss no to coming in for a shift because of my scheduled appointment ... what do we clients get in return besides wasted time and lost money ? At least she returned my $20 deposit that has been kept since August but damn , homegirl really needs to take care of home before taking appointments , we have a life out here too. read more

I had an amazing experience. I felt so comfy and so safe with my hair stylist Heather. She had such a kind aura and energy. She talked to me but I was having a rough day and didn't feel like being a big talker and I didn't feel pushed into that. I didn't feel pressured into making conversation. Heather was able to read me well. The hair washing experience is pretty new to me ( i haven't had a cut in 2ish years) and it was so soothing. As she cut my hair she was explaining the steps being taken. Everyone else there also seemed super nice. They were laughing with each other and with their clients. I genuinely felt comfortable. My hair came out exactly how I asked. She just read me like a book. I got so many compliments from the other stylists and from my friends at work. I felt super confident with my cut. Helping me chart out a care plan for what I once considered "problem" hair was a feat unto itself. Somehow it managed to be simultaneously dry, oily, and easily damaged. Achieving that with an impeccable command of color and technique, without compromising on aesthetic? Incredible. Every time. When asked to match a color for an upcoming wedding on little more than vibes, she took the time to chart out a plan to get there gradually, with enough room to pivot if needed. I was referred to Traci by my son's girlfriend who has black hair and gets her vivid hair color done by Traci. I figured anyone who knows hair color chemistry well enough to turn her black hair a gorgeous hot pink could handle some old lady highlights. I was right. Her knowledge of the science side of hair is amazing and the results are just gorgeous. Speechless, 0 out of 10 do not recommend. I paid for my root to get blonde highlights to match my hair as the roots had grown out as you can see from the picture in the salon chair nothing major. Very simple if you know what you're doing & not misleading someone for their $$.. The owner lives in another state & thinks she knows everything everywhere all the time & is better than everyone else (obviously she is not). Profoundly unprofessional experience when I brought this to their attention the following day. Most unhelpful& unaccommodating for any solution, but will happily take your money and then allow "her" stylist do whatever they want to your hair & then blame you. Rude & patronizing. Whatever her response is here she will have no accountability & act like I went in there and messed up my own beautiful hair. She wouldn't be happy either if someone looked her straight in the face & said they could provide a service & completely ruined something not theirs to ruin! You'd care when it was you hair or body, but as said only care about taking money from people & not providing services asked, paid & told I would receive a service not received. Again 0 out if 10 would not recommend. Spend a little extra & go to a professional or if you don't care what you come out with save your money & go to Sally's see what happens. Either way this is awful to pay 200$ for this mess & is not what you said she was going to do to my hair! Don't pi** on my leg and tell me it's raining! read more

I usually jump into hair adventures so I was glad to know that Amanda was open to me diving into the big hair change. I hadn't dyed my hair in two years so I was a little nervous, but Amanda put me at ease with her consistent guidance and transparency in what she was doing and she took her time in getting it right which made me feel a lot better and cared for. The salon itself is very compliant with COVID protections. I felt safe in knowing we both were masked and that everything was sanitized. I would HIGHLY recommend Traci, she knows what she's doing and she does it very well. She does magic with vibrant color styles and cuts. If u got a specific color, she can literally match the exact color you want.. she is very patient and careful she makes sure that your hair is coming out the way it's suppose to. She's just amazing!! The color lasts for awhile if you know how to take care of it, my hair is still vibrant to this day and it's been about 2 months since I've colored it. If you happen to find yourself at Seven Hair Studio and unfortunately receive Heather Gorbea as your stylist, find someplace else or request for a different stylist ASAP. I am not the first to comment on her attitude; she was extremely pushy and RUDE and insisted that she couldn't do what I wanted, that is, a simple balayage. I should've walked out then and there but I didn't. It turns out that her skills are equally as poor as her attitude. My hair turned out choppy and orange. I went to a different salon so they could fix that damage she had caused and they were shocked that I had only dyed it yesterday. They assumed the brassy look was the result of a fade from three months ago. Heather charged me $215 for a dye-job that looks like it was done for free at home. Keri is amazing!!! The salon is very covid compliant. Masks worn by all, at all times. Everyone is 6 feet apart. Such a cute, quaint, comfortable place to chill for hours while getting beautiful. Keri listens to what your hair goals are and works to achieve them with you. She has great product suggestions so you can have more beautiful/ healthy hair. Before I came to the salon, I had very damaged over-processed hair. My hair had gone through red, blonde, brown and black in just a year & a half. My hair was a mess, I had a terrible haircut, and I truly felt so ugly with my hair. I came into the salon wanting to get a balayage. Deep down I knew this was a bad, bad decision because my hair was already so dead! I explained to my hair stylist, Heather, what I wanted and she was straight up with me & told me how the balayage is going to further damage my already damaged hair & that doing so might not be a good idea. Honestly, I was upset at first with her telling me this because I KNEW SHE WAS RIGHT! I didn't want to hear the truth & I just wanted blonde. Heather explained she could put tiny balayage pieces in my hair, but she remained being reluctant on putting too much blonde in my hair and create more damage... Eventually, I realized that Heather was truly a genuine and honest hair stylist. She cared about the health of my hair & didn't just go with dying my hair to make me happy. I asked Heather about Brazilian blowouts & if she would have time to do it. She was extremely accommodating with my request & gave me my first Brazilian blow out along with a haircut. It's been about 2 days since my Brazilian blowout & my hair feels so healthy and soft. I truly believe this blowout saved my hair. I now actually feel confident in my hair :) I 100% recommend Heather as a stylist. She's an honest stylist who will give you hair advice and tell you what is best for your hair. She did an amazing job with my hair and I am so happy to have had her as my hair stylist! read more

I went in for trim. My hair is really damaged, so I asked for a lot to be trimmed off. What I got was a lopsided mess. It looked like the stylist decided to just cut one side twice and leave the other side alone. She had decided to cut my hair *after* blow-drying it, and had put a soft wave into my hair while doing the blow-drying. So I think she just didn't even give herself the best chance of cutting my hair straight. Poor technique. Unfortunately, I realised this huge mistake after I left the salon, drove home, and had the great experience of my husband saying "what happened to your hair?" I drove back to the salon immediately and the same stylist "fixed" it. On this second attempt she did correct the most egregious, most obvious errors. But my hair had already been hacked to pieces. There was very little she could do to fix it. To be fair, after she got done with her *second attempt* (that cannot be emphasized enough), it did look sort of cute. The problem was that the cut was done specifically to the way she had styled my hair when blow-drying it. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I can't style my hair the way stylists do. Something about being unable to see the back of my head and all that. So I'm stuck with this hair cut that is designed for a style I can't do. Genius (/sarcasm). I've attached a photo of the muppet-hair I ended up with as a result of this charade. This is an absurd result for a $55 + tip haircut. I would have been better off going to supercuts or just cutting it myself. read more
