Zipper went up with ease, got it to the top and it came completely apart. We had to sew my daughter into dress. It was an awful situation. We only had a short amount of time and had to worry through whole night that dress will hold up. Took video to show that it was broke, left voicemail with shop. Owner called Monday. Told me she recieved my voicemail and that that is not possible with that gown. Offered to pay for a new zipper (just the zipper, not the installation). Owner is new this year, we have always bought deesses there in the past. We will never shop their again.

I got a lace up back on my dress and asked if I could see it without the panel behind it (some brides do that) and she basically told me I shouldn't do that because "it would look like lingerie" and she kept calling my wedding a "Bible wedding" and like wouldn't drop it even when I tried to move on. Basically implying "how could you want to show your back if you are a Christian". Then she goes on to talk to my maid of honor about "no brides really wait to move in with their finances anymore" and she went to tell the other girl at the counter about our conversation in front of me while I was paying. She then made the comment "if your mom was here what would she think" and I was just like shocked. As if my mom would be appalled if I showed like an inch of my back line who cares. My maid of honor was also super weirded out. It was so strange especially since my first experience was so good. But that being said I love my dress and am excited to wear it! I think I've bought 15 or so dresses from them. Every time I go in, the staff is so friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to help me find a dress that matches my vision. When I can't find a dress I want, they take down my information and will often do research to find a dress that I may like. This level of intentionality can be hard to find. They do a great job of finding accessories to go with the dress. I usually end up buying a beautiful pair of earrings with my dress. I could go on and on about SSY. Maybe one day I will buy my wedding dress from them!
