Before I took it back for the 30 day check up I had been a little over 300 miles and never had a problem. After they did the 30 day adjustments it wasn't fit to even ride. Do yourself a favor and don't bother taking it back for them to work on. Take it to the one in Ocala if you want it done correctly. They fixed the mess that was caused by brooksville and will definitely use them from now on.

And it was flat again in the morning. Called them instead of making another drive. This is when they told me there must be something wrong. My thought was that I knew that a hundred dollars ago. They thought I should bring it back again. I said I would do something else. So, I took the tire apart, put the tube through a bowl of water. There was no leak I could find. I reassembled the wheel put it on the bike and it has been fine since. I guess what perturbs me is that at 73 I didn't want to deal with the hassle of changing the tube and tire. But then I paid them $100 bucks and I still had to do it myself. I suppose they are nice people but I know they dealt with me poorly.

Additionally, they had several other hard-to-find parts in stock that I was looking for, specific to the PreCaliber. Owen helped us out; great customer service, prompt and polite. Prices in the store are good and as expected for OEM-quality parts. Keep in mind that you're not getting cheap Walmart parts that will soon break or wear out when considering pricing. I also knew I was most likely going in for a cannondale hybrid type road/smooth trail/gravel bike. He showed me some different brands and styles and I was able to take them for a spin in the parking lot. Marc has been there for a long time and he knows his stuff. He knows the history of each brand and he will tell you which one is the best among them. He is a bit on the quiet side, so you have to ask your questions. I also like that he took my mongoose in and gave it a tune up. I bought that bmx Mongoose from Fb marketplace for $30. It was in rough shape and he tuned it up and got her moving nicely. I settled on the cannondale and he put together the medium frame. I'm at the tall end of the small frame and just felt more comfortable on the medium frame. It was a great experience and I will go back to the shop again when I need bicycle supplies. I'm always in favor of supporting the local guy. HIs prices are comparable to online and you get that people experience that you would miss out on by ordering online.

On this trip I just needed some shoe laces for my Mil Spec shoes. I couldn't find what I needed anywhere, so I knew they'd have 'em here. Sure enough, they had exactly what I needed! But, shoe laces are easy. If you need some serious tactical gear they'll hook you up!

Trailside Bicycles just finished replacing tires on my recumbent bike yesterday. I was told the job…read morewas easy and the parts available in the store when I dropped the bike off. The manager said he would do the job the first thing the next day. After two days and no word from the shop, I called and was curtly told by the manager that my bike was not ready. When I asked for a new ETA, the owner told me he had no idea and would call when the work was finished. Instead of a one-day turnaround, my bike was in that shop for 6 days. When I arrived to pick the bike up, the same manager not only provided no apology for the length of time to replace the tires, he acted like he had done me a favor to get the work done at all. This was my second time doing business with this shop over the past year with almost identical results both times. I will avoid the shop in the future.
