I haven't had a lot of these cookies in my life, but every encounter I've had thus far has been great. This is no exception! We shared a strawberry streusel cookie and it came out so soft and warm and just melted in your mouth! Have heard so much hype around this business and have been waiting for a good week of flavors to drop before checking it out. Ordering online was easy and received my cookies in 5 minutes after arriving. The lobby was busy, but they had about 20 staff working. We tried Mint brownie, lucky charm marshmallow, sea salt toffee, and peanut butter cookies and cream. I loved the mint brownie - good texture and flavor! These cookies (especially chocolate chip) remind me of Hidden Acres cookies if you are familiar. They are pricey so this will be a rare treat but we look forward to coming back. read more

Love the cookies, hate the customer support. When I go in store, not a single problem! The cookies are delicious and are always ready quickly! If I order from the website, my card gets declined, multiple times, placing holds on my account for several days. Not really an issue for me, but when I try to order $30 of cookies, and don't get the cookies, and Crumble puts a hold on my funds for $300 because their processing system doesn't execute the way it should is a bit annoying. I spend several days wondering if my funds will be returned or if I have to call corporate. I wouldn't even care if I actually got the cookies, but I never do. Eventually the money is put back in my account, but I never get the cookies and my bank account is shy several hundred dollars for a few days. I will only go in person from now on. I was SO excited to hear that we were getting a Crumbl in Ankeny. We knew the grand opening was Friday but they were open for business on Thursday already. I had been to another location, so I knew that you could either order through the app or order at a kiosk there. Between those standing inside and outside, there were probably about 50-60 people waiting I would guess. It was only about 5 minutes until we got to a kiosk to order and then we started waiting. We started hearing horror stories of those who ordered on the app. There were people who placed their orders that morning and the cookies still weren't ready. After about 45 minutes of waiting we asked to either know how long it would be or to just get a refund. They were able to get them out to us in about 5 minutes. We are glad we did the kiosk ordering because everyone who did the app ordering were having to wait so much longer. There were probably 30 employees working. While standing there, we realized a lot of these kids working were going very very slow and really just taking their time. We didn't see any sort of leader going around trying to speed things up and motivate anyone. There also definitely needed to be someone creating a better flow for the lines and ordering. I want to shout out the two men working the front, though. I felt bad they were having to deal with the madness head-on but they were amazing!! They were having fun, making everyone feel seen and noticed, and had the best attitude! I hope they stick around! After about an hour of waiting, we finally got our cookies and they were AMAZING! Been here 3 weeks in a row now! But have had it 4 times now! First week our friend brought us cookies and got us hooked! First time I personally ordered, I ordered a Dozen to be delivered. It was delivered 30mins prior to arrival time so that's always a good start! Shortly went back Friday afternoon 4PM and boy was the wait longgggggg First impression of the store front itself, seems small. Waited outside for 10 mins and finally made it inside. But since it was so crowded I wasn't sure where to order and what to do because everyone was just standing around waiting for their cookies Luckily the customer themselves were very nice and was able to direct me to one of the 3 ordering tablets they had so I had asked everyone else if they ordered and they replied yes so I walked up to the countertop and ordered my cookies. However it got awkward fast because I wasn't given a countdown, I wasn't given quite any direction and turned around and wasn't sure where to stand, while others whom had ordered online for pick up, showed up and had a pick up line number so they knew when their cookies were ready. So if you were not observant you won't know when it's your time to pick up the cookies or if the people before you got their cookies. Waited almost an hour and 45 mins in the cake batter blondie was sold out which that was one of the best flavors for the week, luckily they had just popped in a fresh pan so I didn't wait too much longer. Second time, I went on Monday noon time and it was around 20 min wait. Less crowded. Walked up to order. Had a worker there to place the order for me. I asked her how long it might be and she had a tablet of her own ready to answer my question so that was great! Overall, I would recommend the cookies, hands down really good. Showing up 15 minutes late for mine, I checked in and they began to put the order together. The ordering process is horrible. There is one person filling countless orders. Shut down online ordering until you can fulfill your customers in house. They fill one order about every five minutes.
