Roeck's Bakery supplies many restaurants in Kiel with their delicious baked goods. My nephew loves their loaves of wheat bread. I must recommend their blueberry cupcake with cream center. I do not usually like cream in my cupcakes because typically the creams have a funny taste. At the insistence of my sister, I got the cupcake. I am so happy that I did! I live about 200 miles away, but he's from Milwaukee so it made sense and I appreciate it. Anyway, it was the end of the season so they were only selling pre-boxed creams and nuts inn1 lb. boxes. These were the best chocolates I've ever had. Not a bad one in any of the boxes. No pinks, or oranges, or lemons. Just the ones I love. Maple creams, coconut, vanilla, chocolate and then the nutty ones were fabulous. I like dark chocolate over milk chocolate but both were really good. I plan to visit Oshkosh in the next several weeks (for the first time), so I will definitely stop in at Hughes for a few pounds. I may actually get more than 3 lbs. because they freeze real well for future delights. I'm not sure what else there is to do in Oshkosh, but Hughes is gonna be on the list for sure.
