I am not from the area, but was passing by this morning and remembered wanting to try Mr & Mrs P's during a trip to Ripon several weeks ago, but I had not gotten the chance. I am so glad that I was able to try it today. The restaurant is large and a case with their own baked goods is strategically positioned in the entrance area. The servers are welcoming, friendly and attentive. Coffee cups were kept filled and the BOOM! coffee was great. I had their fruit plate with yogurt and banana bread. The plate was filled with perfectly ripe cantaloupe, pineapple, raspberries, cherries, blueberries, watermelon and the banana bread was delicious. My friends had combo plates with eggs, pancakes and bacon and they were all very happy with their selections. The menu is large and there is a lot of variety... really something for everyone... and the prices are well within reason. I highly recommend Mr & Mrs P's for breakfast or lunch. I had been here once and it was fair. They had just opened so they were just working out some service kinks. I went Sunday with a friend from CA, and had phenomenal service from my new favorite server Bonnie!! The hostess (with a headband and tattoos) was hilarious and fun. We loved her too. Having been in town for a few days to visit our college student... We would drive by Mr. & Mrs. P's. We wanted to visit and dine, but the restaurant mostly serves breakfast and lunch. As time would have... We finally got our opportunity. We had breakfast. We both had omelets. Both were excellent. Each was accompanied by American fries, which were very crispy and nicely seasoned. The toast was made in the bakery, and there are in-house made jams available. I had strawberry, my bride had mixed-berry. Both were very good on our buttered and toasted rye. The front counter was loaded with lots of goodies, as one can expect from a bakery. Intriguing was the use of marshmallow icing. It made me want to purchase the entire cake. Perhaps in the future, we will get an opportunity to experience the other baked goods. But know that any visit to Ripon, WI must include breakfast with the P's. Service was excellent. I would say 1 on the food. it was not good at all. the meatloaf sandwich was charred and thin and just not good. the soda was flat, the burger was over cooked and flavorless and the fries were hard and overcooked. that being said, the bakery at the pay counter was phenomena! we bought bars and brownies and cranberry nut bread and a pie. they were all awesome. read more

The chunk of Ham that came with my meal was outstanding! Perfectly cooked with a slight smoked and honey flavor.... Very enjoyable and would highly recommend! The (over-easy) eggs however were really underdone and kind of slimy. They could have used another minute in the pan. I was also let down with the American Fries, first of all I am much more of a hash-brown guy, but these fries were very thin and resembled a overdone chip more than a fry. We were in the area touring the dying Kmart in Ripon. We were hungry and since the K Cafe has disappeared into my childhood memories, we noticed this cute restaurant next door. It was an unassuming, wood sided building. Upon walking through the door it was like walking into an Instagramer's dream. The first thing you see is a dessert case with the most different and beautiful pastries. The decor and design of this place is stunning. This place only serves breakfast and lunch. What I liked is you can order lunch for breakfast. I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich which was a today's special. It was kind of dry and did not seem to be freshly pan fried, I think it was precooked and just heated up. The kids got pancakes, which were huge, fluffy and delicious. The staff really give it their all and service was outstanding. The concept of the food was innovative, I just wish the execution of my sandwich were better.
