The layers of flaky puff pastry were soft and limp, not flaky and a bit crunchy as they should be. Perhaps the Napoleons had sat too long in the display case, and the pastry absorbed liquid from the custard layers. We would not buy a Napoleon there again.

When we asked about it, we were met with a bit of an attitude, which was disappointing considering the mistake wasn't on our end. The missing item was a chocolate croissant, and when they finally gave it to us, it was extremely cold and hadn't been heated up at all. We also ordered a hot chocolate that was barely warm, definitely not what I would consider "hot" chocolate. I understand people can have bad days, and maybe we just came in at an unfortunate time, but between the unfriendly service, the missing item, the cold croissant, and the lukewarm hot chocolate, it wasn't a very good experience. I really hope the customer service improves because a little friendliness and attention to the order would have made a big difference.

There is no happier place on earth than the Crumbl in Provo. I'm talking lift your spirits after failing an American Heritage Exam. I'm talking get you through a break up because guys in Provo are kinda sus and the only thing that's consistent in my life is the quality of cookies that is crumbl. The flavors are immaculate. The aesthetic is fire and honestly, the workers are pretty great too. PLUS they're open until like midnight which is right before prime cry time so you can get a cookie and cry and you'll be good. Also if that wasn't convincing enough to make you get a cookie, my roommate legitimately would go to crumbl every week and get a new flavor because they were just that good. I have never been so thrilled! My grandson is leaving for Madagascar on his mission tomorrow and I just thought how nice it would be if he could have a box of his favorite Crumbl cookies! When I called them it was 15 minutes to closing and the most amazing employee named Janie literally sent her driver out (with 15 minutes to spare) and made it in time for my grandson to have a box of his favorite cookies right before leaving for Madagascar.
