Bad experience. The worker had us purchase enough to qualify for a coupon reward they ended up not honoring. It showed up in the app on my husband's account but it didn't show up on their end and "there was nothing {they} could do". Um we've all worked retail. Of course there are a combination of buttons you can press on your little cash register to honor the reward we obviously had. Paid full price and for extra mix ins that turned out to be squishy defrosted whole strawberries that we just threw away. read more

I asked for chocolate and sweet cream, MIXED together with rainbow sprinkles. Cold Stone is just ok. The ice cream is not great, but it is not terrible, and they have a great variety of mix ins. The waffle cup was crispy and delicious. The stone, however, was not very cold today. The ice cream was way too soft, which was not a great contrast against the frozen raspberries. Everybody was friendly and service at the counter was quick but, with just one cash register, the wait to pay was too long. It's kind of a shame to have to eat half of your ice cream while waiting in line to pay--specially since it was already too soft. read more

Once again, a lackluster experience. I have unfortunately been on the short end of positive things to say about this Coldstone location. The business is staffed by children who are incapable of making decisions. This location is a perfect example of, "There isn't a button for that" mentality. It would be nice to see an actual manager with some real-world customer service mindset be present. I ordered icecream over the phone on Saturday night and the employees were unwilling to take payment over the phone and/or bring icecream to the car. All patrons have to come inside the store unless you've ordered through Grubhub. You as an employer are responsible by law to protect your employees to the best of your ability and have some obligation to make it easier to help customers reduce exposure and social distance. I just love me some Cold Stone. The selection of ice cream and mix ins allow you to have a almost unlimited combinations of great flavors. My favorite is to get the cheesecake or coffee flavored ice cream with Kit Kat and Heath bar. But it seems like i try something different about half of times I come here. There are many locations that I have been to and there have been good staff and great staff. This is one of the ones with a great staff. They are super friendly and very efficient with getting customers taken care of. The only downside is with the number of restaurants and the 7-11 in this strip mall there is just not enough parking, and with a local favorite reopening in the same strip it's just going to get worse. Very Disappointed!! We live in Saratoga Springs and ordered a large ice cream cake from the American Fork location. I ordered the cake on line and kept my confirmation receipt. This cake was for my daughters 17th birthday and she WANTED this cake!! The cake was one of the signature cakes, thank goodness they always have those made. The problem was the details!!!! It looked pretty pathetic!!! The Happy Birthday and the other design I requested. What bothered me the most is that I got a confirmation email saying that this location had it. The teenagers working that evening had no idea what me and my husband were talking about. Until I showed them my confirmation receipt. I paid $54.00 with a tip I had already added. I ordered a milkshake and I'll be honest, the girl who made it did a TERRIBLE job. I order the exact same milkshake every single time and I'm 99.9% sure she put the wrong ice cream in it and no caramel. Not ok. Can I also say how RUDE she was? Cold Stone is one of the best ice cream options that I have found in Utah, which is sad but true. That isn't to take anything away from this store though. One thing I love about Cold Stone is the consistency. You know you're going to getva good portion and it is going to be good. They also have a lot of options as far as sizes, cones, toppings, etc., and this really sets them apart from some of the other "popular" SLC ice cream shops in my opinion. Went to this Cold Stone on Saturday 4/28/2012 and there was a kid who was nowhere close to 16 working and another girl. The line was huge and the young kid was the only one scooping ice cream while the girl just stood at the register waiting for people (where she should have helped), and talking to people she knew. When it was finally our turn, the kid thought it would be funny to throw the ball of ice cream in the air to catch it in the cup but dropped it on the floor instead. (we had already waiting 30 minutes at this point). Then when my husband ordered, they asked which size, he stated he just wanted the waffle cup with 2 different scoops of ice cream, whatever size that was. When we got to the register the girl asked us 3 times what size of ice cream his was and we just repeated we told the kid 2 scoops, but they just didn't get it and kept asking. I just had to write a review after the experience we had today. Let me begin by saying that Cold Stone has tasty and delicious ice cream! You all probably already know this. But at this particular location my wife and I have always had excellent service, especially today. We bought one of their signature cakes and put it in our freezer last night. As we were preparing for the birthday party that the cake was for, we found out that the freezer had broken sometime after last night. We opened up the freezer door to a droopy melty white mess. Luckily, we called Cold Stone and told them our situation and they happily replaced our sad looking cake. So I took our little disaster and gave it to them in exchange for a beautiful new cake. We realize that this wasn't their fault and they could have easily said no, so I just wanted to write a review to let them know how grateful we are.
