Atrocious cookies. Not the same as they used to be. Used to love these cookies. The sugar cookie was absolutely disgusting and the cosmic cookie was also inedible. This location is bad!!!!!!!! We won't go to any now, but this one is especially bad. Idk what the salty bitter after taste was from the sugar cookie, but I got sick from it. Go to Crave Cookie. read more

The choices weren't great this week, but we found one to enjoy. The Biscotti sugar cookie had big pockets of Biscotti goodness along with white chocolate chips. The sugar cookie was yummy and very sweet. The chocolate chip cookies are ok; I think they are too sweet. read more

We placed an order for four cookies (which were specified on the receipt I received by text). When we opened the box, three of the four cookies inside were *not* what we had ordered. We contacted the store and spoke with an employee who said that the box with our name on it was still sitting on the counter and that the delivery person must have picked up the wrong box. She said that we could have the box of cookies we actually ordered IF we came and picked it up. I said that we ordered the cookies to be *delivered* for a reason. I asked for a refund and was told by the employee that she would talk with her manager and see if a refund was *possible*, but that since the cookies were apparently delivered by an Uber driver, we should really be dealing with Uber. Seriously? The moral of the story is that we paid over $26.00 plus a tip to the driver and ended up with someone else's order and a runaround regarding a refund. read more

The wait was very long. I would expect there to be cookies on hand on a busy Friday night. We were there at 10pm and had to wait 15 minutes for fresh cookies. The staff seemed uninterested and not urgent. The other guests inside were not socially distancing. I felt uncomfortable. Love chip cookies! Honestly in my opinion it tastes better than crumbl but the quality of the cookies sometimes defer from what is advertised. Still the taste is always awesome and I love the cookies. Prices are a little higher than I like but again for the taste is worth it to me. Coming back for an update. A much better experience this weekend, I choose to drive to the store instead of getting a box delivered and luckily went during a time that it wasn't incredibly busy. The storefront is darling, open, and attracts us millennials like flies to honey. It was fun to see the employees hand rolling the dough and cooking in the back, the employees were INCREDIBLY kind. That always goes a long way for me. Very smiley and helpful, I always appreciate good service and these guys were great. We choose two milk chocolate cookies and two red velvet cookies (Valentine's Day pump up) with some cream cheese frosting. Like I mentioned before, the milk chocolate chip cookies don't really do it for me--semi sweet is wayyy delicious. Unfortunately they didn't have those available, but luckily the red velvet and frosting had a chance to take their place and boy oh boy did they rock it. Parking is a beast. But literally finding parking ANYWHERE in Utah is a joke, and because these guys really attract customers because of their cookie delivery service, the non-existent parking isn't too big of a deal. All in all, a much better experience and I'll definitely give them another shot when it comes to the delivery. But if you're already out and about, I'd honestly just pick it up your yourself, spend just $10 (instead of $16-tip and delivery), and get them fast. Keep it up, Chip! And bring back the semi-sweet! ;) TIPS & TRICKS: * I keep meaning to ask about getting some milk. I never have any in my fridge and always wish for a gulp to help wash down the gooey chocolate. After hearing about Chip Cookies from the owner of Oh Mai in Orem, we swung by and bought two boxes. Delicious! I personally wouldn't mind if they were cooked just a minute or two more, but everyone else that tried it said they were just perfect. We also asked about the use of nuts in their kitchen (since we have a peanut/nut allergy kid in our fam) and we're happy to hear that they only make chocolate chip cookies, so no need to worry about nuts. I give these cookies a solid four stars. There was nothing super unique about them, but if you love chocolate chip cookies, then you'll love these HUGE, warm, soft, gooey cookies. We are big fans of trying their monthly flavors! A few of the best have been the biscoff, salted caramel, and the peppermint jojo. I'll admit, these cookies could be better with semi-sweet chips and a little on the more oily side but they have mastered the thick, puffy cookie. read more

If I could I would give them a 3.5. But I decided to round up. I've held out for so long because I am a devout levian fan...but in my opinion you can't even compare the two cookies. The only thing that is the same is probably the size. Chip is awesome! I do really love that they deliver. I love that they have a specialty cookie of the month and that it changes. I will say I knocked them stars because as much as I love a gooey center, I don't love a literally not cooked in the middle cookie. I had to throw my cookies back in the oven at home because the middle of the cookies were totally sagging when I picked them up. Those are little too underdone imo. Not bad, but any better than the slew of other cookie options around town? I don't know. Came to try their Nutella stuffed cookies, and weren't really impressed, took awhile to find the Nutella In the middle, and one of them hardly had any nutella. They weren't bad but they honestly tasted exactly like my own homemade cookies. Cool that they deliver, but worth the price... I don't think so. Mhmm, yep, these cookies are yummy! Chip Cookies makes a really solid, delicious chocolate chip cookie. I usually don't like the simple cookies and want something unique that I cannot easily make at home. Chip breaks that rule for me. These are quite massive and if you're a chocolate chip fan, you should try these at least once. They also offer their OG chip in mini sizes as well. Chip also makes unique flavors for the cookie of the month. In July, they had a lemon chip which... oh my goodness, was the best kind of lemon cookie I have ever had. Beat Crumbl's version way out of the water. I tried Chip's s'mores cookies as well, and that was also pretty good. It is definitely exciting when a new cookie of the month comes out, although I do wish they had more flavors available at one time. read more

Let me get to the point: -The cookies are good -The cookies are expensive -There is very limited variety -The inside of the store is super cute We had to order their Biscoff Cookies that they collaborated on with Courtney Rich from Cake by Courtney. They are TO DIE FOR!!!! Especially when you get one that's nice and warm. Holy cow guys. I can't tell you how good they are. However, the rest of their cookies are just alright! They certainly aren't bad, but I don't think they are worth $3 for one cookie. The biggest thing that drives me to other places over Chip is the selection. Chip has 3 flavors to choose from, while Crumbl has double that amount. You HAVE to try the biscoff cookies when they have them. Besides those, you're not missing much. read more

UPDATE: These cookies are not what they used to be :( I was so loyal to Chip and always stood up for them as the best cookies in the world. I don't know what happened to them, but they don't taste as good anymore and I keep giving them chances (hoping I just had a bad batch). I don't know if the recipe changed or what... and they also seem under baked. The following paragraph was my original review when the cookies used to taste amazing. Best cookies I've ever had in my life. Massive chocolate chip cookie that is firm on the outside and soft on the inside. You can only by the cookies in a box of 4. So plan to eat a ton of cookies or have amazing leftovers. They do a cookie of the month which is always fun to try but honestly I've never thought they were better than the original chocolate chip. However, you can get half and half which means half the original chocolate chip and half their cookie of the month. Chip is disgusting and delicious at the same time. Disgusting because the first ingredient is butter, but delicious because the first ingredient is butter. I can't get through a whole cookie most of the time because of the overwhelming richness and sweetness (not to mention the sheer size) of the cookies. Are you KIDDING ME? When we arrived (mind you, at 7:40pm), they told us they were out of every cookie. I'm sorry, how? Some guy who cut in front of us ordered the last 2 cookies. Obviously, we weren't very happy already. The cashier was dry and not very welcoming, off to an already terrible experience. We were willing to wait and were excited for a yummy cookie, despite being upset. However, when it came out IT WAS HALF COOKED. We waited for cookie dough that was lukewarm. It literally melted in the bag because it was so undercooked. We had to go home and cook our own cookies in the oven. It's disappointing to receive such minimal effort in costumer satisfaction. This type of service was mediocre at BEST. The only way I would go back is if they offered me a Crumbl gift card. Why go to Chip for a cookie you can bake yourself in your EasyBake Oven? read more

I was out for a late evening cruise in my Prius when it struck me that my subscription for doorstep bow tie deliveries would expire this month. Now, I have loved my monthly bow ties almost as much as I love my three chameleons that I rescued from the shelter in Reno, but I knew I had to branch out in 2017 and find something to fill the void in my heart that no amount of essential oils could ever cure. Suddenly, there it was. Chip. I pulled over, walked in the front doors and ordered a box of cookies. They were breathtaking. As in they were so large that I had to take an inhaler break after the first two. Best cookies I've ever had!!! I still have dreams about eating chip cookies. The cookies are huge and you get so much that you sometimes can't finish them. Like most cookies they don't get hard or dry the next day they are still so moist and soft and still better than any chocolate chip cookie you could dream of! I always save a little of mine so I can relive the joy I felt while eating it the night before. The store is so cute, the people are so nice, and the cookies are a 10/10. read more

Okay, to be honest, when I first heard about Chip a while ago I was like "what's the big fuss?" I don't teally eat sweets and love to bake for my friends. I just thought it was another bakery. But boy, I was WRONG. I tried one of these bad boys and JDSIKDKDKED that is the sound of me crying because I can't eat their cookies fast enough because they are so thick and delicious. Yessss. I've been a bunch and I'm loving this place. Sometimes there is a line but its goes pretty fast. The cookies are the best in town. All they make is one cookie and they have mastered it. These are gourmet, huge cookies. I don't know the exact chip they use but it is perfect. Only problem is that I think I'm addicted...
