The chocolate ganache and raspberry tartlet didn't quite convince me, though. At the table next to us, they ordered some sandwiches (very large, by the way) and a soup or stew that, when they lifted the lid, filled the place with an incredible aroma... very tempting. No hello, no welcome, how can I help you....no greeting whatsoever. Just downright RUDE. It took everything in me not to say anything, but I proceeded to just order the ice cream (against my better judgment). We weren't offered any toppings, sauces, etc and it was like she just wanted us out the store as quickly as possible. Not even a set of napkins were offered to us. Another customer came in after us, and wasn't treated this way. Interesting...But, I paid for the scoops and left. The experience was so uncomfortable that I will NEVER EVER set foot in that shop again. It's unfortunate because our ice cream is actually really good (hence the one star given). But the customer service was a ZERO across the board. I didn't give a monetary tip because it wasn't deserved by any means.
