Two stars, because the facility was exactly what I needed, so I can't ding them on that. The business/data security practices however are horrible. When I wanted to end my membership, they continued to charge card even after I contacted them through the app, email and in person. The only resolution was through my credit card in which I had to file a dispute, twice. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the end, as it seems my credit card information is being used at a dental clinic, that I've never heard of nor visited, but under the charge of Crunch Fitness, so the headache is ongoing. Seems the only way will be to cancel my current card and request a new one, as it seems my card I provided has been shared. read more

This used to be a decent place to workout for the money. Slowly but surely they have taken away HIIT and workout space from basic level members to hold classes throughout the day or simply just have it closed for no obvious reason. So, if you come to workout on your own they have a 20x50 foot space for you at the front of the gym in front of everyone walking in..... They use the back HIIT space for classes and personal training. Well today I'm up front and the personal training is going on in the 200 square foot space I had left in this gym. It's definitely a cheap place to workout but at least at planet fitness I new I would be able to breath my own air while I'm panting. The staff are also less than helpful. they've been out of sanitizing solution multiple times and they're no help in getting it replenished or are completely out. The facility is regularly dirty or things are out of order. Music is too loud even with your own headphones on. Got a membership at 9.99 and they went up on their prices without notification. And YES I checked my spam folder. No refunds will be provided even though their staff told me that most people were Never notified via email. You have to come in person to cancel your membership. Corporate phone numbers listed online to contact go straight to a recording on repeat that states, "This is not a secure line."Called the gym location hoping to get a billing or customer service number. Overall, condescending customer support once I reached a manager from the gym. I'm not a dumb person a little fat but not dumb. I will Never renew and will never step foot in there again besides to cancel this horrible membership. read more

There seems to be an issue with upper management (RM) being more concerned about people leaving locks on lockers or having their bags on the floor when it hasn't been an issue in the past. These cables have been out of service for at least two weeks and there is no sense of urgency to get them repaired. Dear owners, please think about your members first. BUYER BEWARE. It's a decent gym (basically it's Planet Fitness 2.0) but if you try to cancel, you will get the run around. Everything with them requires a minimum of 30 days. If you sign up for six months of personal training, that's not a six month contract. That's a never ending contract if you do not notify them in writing 30 days prior to your last billing cycle. They will never stop billing you. Even when you do notify them, if it is 29 days prior to your next bill, it's too late! You will be billed again! I was forced to pay for a month of personal training THAT I NEVER USED. I find this to be predatory and quite frankly, disgusting. Canceling your membership? I spent well over an hour today trying to get this membership cancelled. It took going to their Facebook page and posting my displeasure to finally get someone's attention. There is an option on crunch d o t com (if you can find it) to cancel your membership. But the local gym says that the website does not notify anyone locally (SO WHY IS IT EVEN AN OPTION?) I canceled three times and never received a phone call despite the website telling me that I would hear from a manager within 1 to 2 business days. I canceled in person by physically going inside the gym! They did not have the correct paperwork forms on hand so I had to sign my name in a spiral notebook with a dozen or so other people who were also canceling. I canceled by email as well. Sent an email to the head of personal trainers. That did no good. I canceled by telephone three times, never speaking to a manager (they were always 'in a meeting') but being promised that said manager would be out of their meeting in about 30 minutes ... it was always 30 minutes. That also did no good and I never received a phone call. Finally today, I used Facebook messenger and I think it may have worked. But we shall see. Whenever I brought up all the different methods I had tried, they assured me that every gym membership was canceled from the spiral notebook... So I responded with "then why are you continuing to charge my credit card?" They had no answer. They give you the runaround over and over. I was constantly promised that a manager would get back in touch with me but none ever did. I told someone (no idea who I was communicating with on Messenger) that I have acted in good faith and that any reasonable person would expect that the multiple ways and multiple attempts I used would result in cancellation and the cessation of charges on my credit card. Using that language seemed to trigger something because that was when the backpedaling began as well as the assurances that they're going to cancel the membership and stop charging (or attempting to charge because the card is locked) my credit card. My next step is to go to the Attorney General if I get charged again. read more

Joined months ago, they didn't ask me to download or use the Crunch member app. Crowded club with dirty equipment. management isn't professional, and some of their top management was actually FIRED from the Crunch in Hattiesburg. Most companies wouldn't hire mediocre employees that was fired from another Franchise to be leaders for them. Club4Fitness and Life Time fitness is better for your buck. read more
